    Doncaster and Tonight. In my opinion he looks awful on the ball and I really don’t agree with central midfielders who look uncomfortable in possession. Just a personal opinion. For me a holding midfielder is a lot more than someone who breaks up play. Hence why I believe Misslou is outstanding. He drives and passes forward comfortably whilst breaking up play. Fane and Sylla arnt what I would expect of central midfield players.

    I don’t see this being allowed to happen. He needs to give up his shares in Salford. This is a thought but don’t know if legally could be done. Couldn’t he just sell his 10% to Neville and have a gentlemen’s agreement between themselves ? If he was then to leave us for whatever reason he just simply takes his 10% back ?

    I’d say 95% of my friends within the 17-21 bracket all voted. Its mostly older generation who just voted leave as “they remember when we where not in the EU”. Times have changed, older people are stuck in the old times, it will be the young people who are impacted by the decision they made. Be that positive or negative. But besides us the people, the people who have the most to answer for is the politicians if you can call them that, that attempt to run this country.

    If AL listens to the fans as much as he claims, we need to make it known we want Scholes and fucking push the boat out to get him AL. In all honesty I’m hearing bad things on the funds available for players from my source, so this is hardly suprising.

    If Billy does stop posting due to yourself just pressing soemthing which isn’t an issue, then the board has lost a source of information which is valuable to all of us on here. Your issue is invalid when there are tickets left after the extra allocation, if people wanted to go that badly all they had to do was go online or phone today. It’s really not that hard. Do it first thing in the morning chances are you will get tickets. Do it online now. Just don’t press someone who is genuinely trying to help and provide an Oldham Athletic forum with Oldham athletic information that’s what we all want.

    Agree with those scenarios also. Just bloody hope he gets it, if he doesn’t and that’s AL’s doing, I won’t be supporting AL in the future. This is a great opportunity for our club

    I think maybe it’s more of a tactical decision from Scholes. Doncaster followed by MK dons on paper is highly likely to be two defeats. Or he can wait a few more games and take over for morcambe at home and the easier run that follows. Momnetum, fans on side etc etc.

    We reckon this is true then ? Because the idea of Scholes managing Oldham ticks a lot of boxes for me. 1. Most importantly he’s a fan of the club. 2. Most fans will back him 3. He will have more chance of getting backing from AL due to his reputation. 4. Players will listen and respect him 5. Connections within the game 6. Media coverage for the club Get Scholes in, with a good team, let’s get up the table
