I'm on holiday on the date of the play off final...
Should be OK, if Saturdays performance keeps repeating we won't be anywhere near Wembley.

Don't need to stay near the ground. Jubilee line to Wembley Park and you're all good.
I admire the forward planning but I don't think this is our year.In the past I've used Stanmore on the jubilee line, ideal if you are driving and don't want the hassle of London, massive car park at Stanmore.

Not something to look forward to really, even with discounts on lots of things. I'd sooner be in 1960.
Getting paid not to work will do me for starters.

Given its location that seems pretty reasonable, it's coming out at £340 for Friday and Saturday night. Is there much to do in and around the ground? Not been to Wembley for over 30 years now.
Just jump on the tube into central London, I'm waiting and then try and get an air bnb last minute somewhere outside London central near a tube line.

OAPs season tickets are cheap in comparison to pay on the day, one reason maybe the attendances are so high even if they don't attend.
I'm old school though and even in the 1960s despite not a great team it was attractive football to watch.
Latics always seemed to have 2 good wingers, a midfield creator and a couple of goalscorers up front.
I ain't an OAP yet BP. Not long though.

No I’m not….football is just not as important to me as it used to be.
I would just become a ‘glory hunter’ like the 20k that were at Wembley.I’ve done my time watching poor footy and we would have to be playing half decent football to tempt me every week.
I have a ST now but only take in half the fixtures as I’m in Spain quite a lot of the time but I’m still contributing!
I think as you get older you tend not to bother as much even with a season ticket, I used to book holidays around home games, now I'm not arsed.

How would you describe Hobson's running style?
Tentative. Certainly his turning movement is.

I think they use a gas of some sort that could be hazardous
The silly fuckers these days inhale it. Mind you I think glue sniffing is a thing of the past.

Not officially. They’ve been on a banned list for some years apparently, as have pyros.Whilst I can see the argument for pyros and people who have breathing issues, I’m not sure I see too much difference in an airhorn and a drum?
I always loved the air horn at games, I feel it would compliment the drum.

Would it be possible to bring a air horn into the ground nowadays, or are they banned?

Didn't see it. Some say worst performance of the season. Refuse to believe it was worse than Southend or Fylde.
It wasn't.

I assume you didn't go today ?
It was as bad if not worse than anything seen under Unsworth.
Almost everyone who went says it was shocking from the players and management team.
if these starting players and tactics are used in the next home game I predict another poor performance and a loss.
Change it to a more attacking dynamic passing team and it might help.
Unsworth matches were far worse.

He does nothing though, obviously there's a player in there but it's just not happened for him.
The entire midfield did nothing, granted its difficult when the ball is just flying over your head but I suppose someone has to be singled out.

Looks like Lundstram is the latest boo boy.

I'm not going to get stressed about today, a nice meal and a bottle of red. We are just like a spaghetti western the good the bad and the ugly.

Well we got what we deserved, it's the hope that kills you.

I was planning the OASIS Gold annual trip. This would have been ideal location wise but ruled it out on this basis
Yeah, can't see tickets being easy to get, even ST holders will have to be quick.

This will be the fun game.
Last away game of the season...

Close to the city centre...
Could be a lot riding on it...
3000 capacity!!
Get yer tickets early
We will only get 500 tickets I would have thought.

I’m not sure that they ‘deserve’ so much more - football is a funny game after all.
It would be good though
The crowds we are getting is down to high percentage of "kids". They have only watched crap football, I think they do deserve it after what they have endured.

Long haul I’ll be 78 this year. I’ve already done one long haul - mid 50s to mid 80s. I haven’t got bloody time for another long haul. Quick as possible please.TBF we've seen the best of it, I'd be happy with just a modicum of success, it's these young kids and twenty somethings who support the club in their numbers that I feel sorry for, all they have seen is shite, they deserve so much more.

Definitely. It’s bang in the half term holidays too so those with kids who may not have done otherwise will probably go for that. I’ll be amazed if we don’t sell our initial allocation within three days. Some tickets will go to open sale, I won't be taking any chances.

Of course we are, we support OAFC. (I'm waiting until we get there before I book anything)
