  1. Firstly..I'd introduce those safe standing rail seats that latics have approved in the new stand to get more fans in on the big cup games (could help towards creating the at atmosphere) Secondly.. I'd lower the prices.. The leaked season ticket price was good but let's make it £10 an adult £5 under 16's & OAP on the day aswell.. More bums on seats even at a cut cost rate means more programmes, confectionary products, beer & merchandise bought.. Thirdly.. Loyalty Schemes with season ticket holders at the top of the pecking order, after that you build points up on a loyalty card, the more games you attended you more points you accumulate items bought from the club shop, away tickets sold at the ticket office, and the club run coach travel all could build up points Points can be used to clarify who gets first dibs on cup tickets ie ST holders - Monday, 500+ loyalty points - Tuesday, open sale - Wednesday Points could be traded in at the toward the end of the season for there value in match tickets or club merch etc... Local produce... Why are we selling pre packed pies when we could be selling freshly made pies and hot pots from local suppliers?
  2. If it was your job to improve the match day experience at Boundary Park what would you do? Let's try an avoid mentioning players & the new stand please
  3. One point is better than none, unlucky not too steal it at the end.. Scrappy opener from Col U that we should of defended at lot better.. Too many hit and hope strikes from out of the box.. Played the ball well in the middle.. Looked a threat down the wings.. Clear on goal difference with two games in hand.. Next few games are crucial KTF
  4. weak bladder it will piss it
  5. This is how these things start, sending flags over etc, we don't them coming over to our games as a result of it...
  6. Just been told to pass a message on so here it is... " St Pauli should not be tolerated in Oldham, they sing song's in support of the IRA, we should not support them and there attempts to impose communist views at Oldham games " Don't shoot the messenger Further more I have been informed St Pauli have links with FC United
  7. might have something to do with him shunning his England duties to take a well payed job with Al Jazeera TV
  8. im all for fans signing and creating an atmosphere at boundary park but all this organised ultra show of coloured cards, flags, banners and scarf swinging is just not the traditional British norm for me and after all latics is a traditional British club... the atmosphere at forest, liverpool and everton was fantastic but lets face it, it was either a full house or a packed out away end that produced that atmosphere.. a small group of "young teens lead by a german" waving anti fascism flags and holding banners from foreign clubs who have no connection to latics i.e St Pauli isnt going to produce the atmosphere that was at forest, liverpool or everton now on to the political side of things... i think it is in the best interest of the club and the fans to keep politics out of football... look at all the trouble politics causes in the Scottish and Irish league.. there would be an uproar on here and in the local press if some "English" bloke was planning to encourage right-wing ideas and holding up right wing banners along side of creating "atmosphere"
  9. the thing is the majority of us on here follow latics either because our fathers took us as kids or we went with our friends so if the Bengali, Asian or Indian communities aren't supporting our club (in mass numbers) you need to ask why.. and the answer is modern football the bright lights of premiership.. the big teams, the big players.. however i have seen a few Asian fans at latics most of which have been young teenagers and i have never seen or heard of them being treated in a manor that could be seen as unwelcoming
  10. http://www.youtube.c...ed/elKSw5gaGDY http://www.youtube.c...ed/E-CxwuZBfd4 I met this bloke from Burnley in Montenegro watching England in the Euro 2012 qualifiers.. when he found out that Blackburn where looking for a new manager he sent in a spoof application, Bet Victor picked up on his application and started him at 500/1, then his story has hit the press and he's rocketed to 25/1 on par with Gus Poyet, Alex McLeish & Tim Sherwood http://www.oddscheck...rmanent-manager
  11. For me Roy Hodgeson should be seeking the approval of the FA to get a squad of young talent players who will be playing for England in Euro2016 in France let them play the remaining qualifiers and take them to the W/C in Brazil, Let them jell as a team let them get practise on the big stage in preperation for 2016, it's very unlikely we will win the World Cup in brazil but what use will the older heads be in that type of climate anyway, let the likes of Smalling, Jones, Welbeck, Sterling, Ox, Walcott, Wiltshire etc go out there and run teams raged for 90mins In answer to your question.. No leave rio at home
