    Surely if anyone deserves/needs a rest it's crofty. He hasn't stopped running for 180 mins.

    We have done brilliantly since he came into the side (more to do with TP's organisation than CI's input IMO), and I'm not disputing that his experience can help us out, but I'd start with Smith and use Iwelumo from the bench if required.

    I don't think it would be a disaster if we couldn't extend it. Winchester showed what he's capable of on the left against the scousers and I reckon TP would give him a decent run in the team (if he's in charge).

    Iwelumo can talk well and his experience is obvious with his positioning, but he won't move for a ball that's not directly at him and he won't chase anything. It's this lack of desire from too many players under PD that's got us into the mess we're in.

    Only change I would make would be smith for iwelumo. Can't justify dropping anyone to bring furman back in.

    Very disappointed with Moyes there, thought he was classier than that. We deserved a draw at the very least.

    I heard the same thing shortly after the game. No smoke without fire.

    I'd go with Smith if he's fit. Proved what he's capable of vs Liverpool and deserves it. Iwelumo hardly moved today and when he did it was incredibly slow. Also should have done better with the chance early in the second half.
