I know there's a bit of a feel good factor now with this squad (I haven't seen them play this season so I can't comment) and that's all well and good but in my opinion nothing has changed in regards to the owner and board. They're still going to be f***ing us over and being content with just existing as a football club and people just seem to forget about it all after a couple of good results. The atmosphere was so toxic after Sheridan left and we were reduced to 6 squad members (and rightly so). It's been the worst couple of seasons in my life of being a Latics fan on and off the field. I just feel like the bigger issue is getting ignored again and the sooner we are rid of this owner who has no degree of care for the club whatsoever, the better. Won't be renewing my season ticket until he's gone and there's a new structure in place with a clear view on how the club is going to be taken forward in the long term.

When we've had the shambolic couple of years we have had can you honestly blame people for not wanting to go? People feel distanced from the club, myself included which is why I haven't renewed this time round.

Great move he deserves it. Let's just hope they spell his name right this time.

Corney wants too much money for what it's actually worth. That's why we have had no serious offers of any kind (koukash doesn't count). He's not going to sell the land we're on either unless he gets some serious serious money as he can just continue to make money on that with the incomplete stand, car park etc. I fear we'll be stuck with him and the incompetent board for the foreseeable future.

Mills is twice the player Wilson is. To be fair he didn't have a good game last night, but he can bomb down that left side and puts in a lot of good crosses. But Brian Wilson, I'd put to to buy out his contract.

I'm not that bothered if he goes, he'll have one game on one game off, his knees can't do it anymore.

Wouldn't bank on Philliskirk getting many goals, he was terrible last season. Hope we sign that Ploj, looked a threat.
