  1. One month of not playing that thing from Bradford and Cooper can only be a good thing. Hopefully he starts Saturday.
  2. Clarke doesn't want to be here, seems Brown does. Brown was all effort, not much ability. 2 divisions down i expect he'll look a better player. As Unsworth said any player who wants to go can just go. I don't mind Clarke, he can play but his hearts not been in it this season.
  3. He's not ideal and you'd like a new one in but assuming we can't he might be worth a go. I liked his attitude at right back though. Got a few tackles in and seemed to like that side of it. That's an improvement on our current centre mids. No bite or skill from Cooper at all. He's useless.
  4. Could Sheron be used as the enforcement in midfield? Looks to love a tackle and was announced as a defensive midfielder. Can't be worse than Cooper who does neither end of the pitch well.
  5. With interest rates being so high can't blame the powers that be keeping all the ticket money in their accounts rather than provide some decent talent for their manager. Help pay for the stadium I suppose. Perhaps we'll pick up another Barrow cast off later in the year if we strike lucky in the FA cup.
  6. I don't think that's correct as prem sides often sell players abroad outside of windows. Didn't Stockport sign Boltons captain last year late on?
  7. Any chance Royle & Royle will be able to prize some money from Franks tight grip now we have some TV money coming? I expected some moves in once the lad at Scunny turned us down.
  8. Have the "we've no money" lads issued a written formal apology yet?
  9. I think their connection may be deeper than that, about 7inches deeper.
  10. Also the idea that the conference is so very tough. I'm sure Hunt came with massive rave reviews and we could all see how shite he was......
  11. I'd be ok with Shez. He'll know the script with Mo, he can set ground rules from the off. Of the players on contract he will know all about them. The news the budget remains the same despite guaranteed major losses in income just shows how little they have spent. We will still be a big draw and for the majority of club in the conference if our wage offer is the same as most clubs the player will pick us. New owners is a dream but if that comes off for me we have to go and get Wildy back.
  12. That makes no sense. Wasting ink and electricity.
  13. The usual practice is they get a reduced wage whilst in admin, particularly mid season.
  14. He isn't going to pay the debt lads. Better to ride admin now than in the summer when a) the players can be sold and b) the efl can maintain competition numbers more easily. Admin is coming, I'd rather it was now when we'd probably avoid relegation and there is interest in maintaining the club. Doubt the FLG will wait for years to buy the ground which means Mr Blitz may have to think of another way to make his money
  15. Is there a club that's been put in admin that can pay all it's bills? The club would splutter to the summer and a buyer found. I'd be delighted to take the gamble.
  16. No one is suggesting admin would be quick or easy however it would rid of us of AL Mo and BO quickly. The players would remain and the club still function. The debts are mainly to blitz and he clearly doesn't want to fold the club. Get it handed in on Monday and work towards getting the club back to where it belongs, 17th in league 1. We won't go down even minus 12 points. Fans will rally round. The EFL won't allow another club to go bust.
  17. Admin is coming as AL won't play ball with anyone. It is a matter of when now he has totally pissed off the landlords. Better now than in the summer as they will sell all the players remaining to cover debts etc.
  18. Admin would mean a 12 point reduction, we could cover this with the current side easily. It would mean getting rid of Mo, AL and Barry before season tickets go on sale for next season. Get it done and dusted tomorrow morning for me.
  19. So you would give your profits without any say on where it was spent having spent millions buying the stand? Jesus. Playershare was specific and I'd expect this fund to be. lets face it the Lemon brothers aren't going to be here long enough to reap the benefits, laundry or no laundry.
  20. I dont believe the idea is to give it him to spend on whatever he wants. I doubt they'll pay the laundry bill or flights or the sporting directors wages. I'd imagine it'll be investment on the field.
  21. Prem sides can operate off TV money alone. They could let people in for free. The club needs bums on seats. They take a lot of cash each home game.
  22. If AL is managing to make some money, by whatever means, from OAFC he will remain. We have seen this with other owners at other clubs. Give them abuse, they stop going but still earn. The only way to get an owner out is to hit them in the pocket. Stop giving them your money. Support the FLG (when the time comes) and get rid of this clown.
