Giggs reported to be starting his managerial career in league 1 or 2 We can live in hope

Always followed our club and will continue to do so until one of us is no more,however I have never felt this low or despondent with the way things are going at present with no news coming directly from the club everything is hearsay and rumour we currently have no manager,half a team and a new season fast approaching.It is time the board put us in the picture as to what is happening to our club

At least if you go on fathers day you can dine and watch the Grass grow cos there's nothing happening elsewhere in the club only the players leaving Don't forget to turn the lights off if you're last to leave

If it's true the fee will be the same as usual UNDISCLOSED so we'll never know

Spends more on pies than players if he comes to us

I've previously written to SC personally at the start of last season and as yet have had no reply,just as well I didn't hold my breath.Virtually everything said previously is correct and having followed Latics since 1963, through thick and thin, it has always been a family club,a selling club who never seem to get the best price for the players we sell and a club lacking financial backing and stability. SC is possibly doing his best financially however in business you sometimes have to speculate to accumulate and we need fresh investment and stability within, especially in manager and playing staff that is the only way we will move forward as a club by issuing hands off notices and backing it with money which should and could lead to success and the potential to make the club a more saleable asset in the future. Once again the season ticket has been purchased only this pre season is filled with trepidation not anticipation here's hoping SC or the board will be up front with the supporters but yet again I'm not going to hold my breath

Investment is needed to get our club on the move again regardless of where it comes from.It is a rumour that there is a potential investor but he/she/they will only invest if the club is debt free so possible administration and the loss of 10 points equates to league 2 football and build again but I think that will only happen when we are unable to escape the drop mathematically .

Forte looked disinterested today James Wilson was frightened to death by Leon Clarke I agree Palmer and Jones gave their all but we look shot shy and try to walk it in.Definitely need a big CB who will command the back four

Thought we deserved something from the game.Palmer was outstanding for a first game but James Wilson looked frightened to death by their forwards especially Leon Clarke if we are to get anything from this season we definitely need a strong CB as soon as possible hopefully this week
