Did anyone ask PW what the fuck happened at Exeter?
tbf Pete said our players got bullied and he said a number of managers had told him after games that they saw that as our weakness

I think the original plan by TTA (when the full stadium redevelopment was planned) was to build it in the corner between the now North stand and RRE... Not sure if that's still possible or if that's still the plan.
Yep, that sounds like what PW said tonight

How is all this going to be possible whilst Al owns the club? He will have to agree for it to happen, if not, are they going to try and take over the whole club??
Were these questions asked?
Aspirations
Which do make sense if the North Stand can be bought and better relations with the club owner be developed
For me, reading between the lines, to buy a stand, the land footprint of the stadium and the car park, if all went well, its a natural objective to buy the club (but thats just my opinion)

Where's the hotel going to go then?
tbh a diagram did go up on the screen but a didnt take much notice as it was being presented as a longer term objective.
I was still thinking through their short term objectivesv

Brief notes from tonights meeting:
Paul Whitehead (PW)was the main presenter
Simon Brooke (SB) in attendance
PW stated Simon Wood was also part of the FLG
There are 3-4 other members who prefer at this time to remain anonymous due to business commitments
It was confirmed that Simon Corney was not part of the FLG
Negotiations have taken place on numerous occasions with Brassbank (Blitz & Gazal) to purchase parts of the ground.
Short term intentions: to purchase the North Stand, the land that is the footprint of the stadium and the car park for c£7m
Intentions are to further develop the North Stand to try and maximise potential £revenue streams to help sustain the club.
It was suggested that the ticket office, marketing dept etc be moved into the. North Stand to enhance the image of the club.
Pretty sure changing rooms being moved was also mentioned as well
Both PW & SB advised fans will be offered the opportunity to invest and details will be released when available
Medium/Long term: develop a hotel attached to the ground, again to help generate £revenue for the club
PW & SB answered a good number of questions from supporters ( but am not a secretary )
I would think the FLG will publish their own meeting notes
Hope this helps

I'd got it into my head tht Gazal had also setepped down at Brassbank, clearly he hasn't .
Otherwise everthing you, and I, have said stands. Not sure what you are trying to say.
The FLG ‘reveal’ this weekend should provide some answers and hopefully the main characters have the personal finances to invest in the club infrastructure.
Am struggling though to get my head round how two Limited Companies, Brassbank and the OEC are going to risk putting their profitability at further risk by positively contributing to the finances of the club.
Fingers crossed

Brassbank don't own OEC, its a separate entity. The owner of Brassbank is also a part owner of the OEC.
He sold seaon tickets , 100 Club, car parking and hospitality based on use of the OEC, so clearly did not have an issue then. it's only the 4% increase that has triggered his toy chucking.
It's the clubs problem due to contractual agreements. The agreements will be used to pay the OEC repayments though.
Also, it is not neccesarily the banks that are the creditors.
Singe
The Directors of Brassbank, being Blitz & Gazal, are the Directors of the OEC, so whilst its legally a separate trading entity it is owned by the very same people
My understanding is that the FLG have taken on the day to day management of the OEC. There has been no announcement at Companies House of any change to Directors

Regarding recent announcements 20/03 and 10/05 of yours above that I have bolded....
Worth mentioning that Trust stated on their site on June 6th: "The Trust wishes to assure fans that the six month notification period with regard to the ACV in place at BP has NOT been triggered" (the bold emphasis is theirs not mine).
Also, I think the FLG have said they have taken ownership of the shares of OEC not just the running of it (though companies house says otherwise).
Kowenicki, I have just noted what I could find from either Companies House or announcements from the official social media sites of the different parties.

Recent announcements / events:
- 13/02/19 Trust Oldham announce they have been invited by a FLG to join talks with Brassbank to purchase the stadium and a 'period of exclusivity' has been agreed
- 20/03/19 Trust Oldham advise a deal has been agreed with the current landlords to purchase (a) the freehold of the stadium (b) the North Stand in its entirety and the car parking space.
- 10/05/19 The FLG advise that part of their purchase agreement is to take over the operation of the OEC as from 20/05/19 which allows them to bring forward plans to complete the 2nd floor and other developments within the North Stand. Next phase will be, in conjunction with the current landowners, to provide the club with a commercial agreement to provide matchday hospitality for the 19/20 season. The agreement includes; the executive boxes, the 100 club hospitality and other matchday operations
- 17/05/19 FLG announce Simon Brooke (ex Director of Oldham Athletic 2004 Ltd) as Operations Manager to oversee the day to day running of the OEC
- 25/05/19 FLG advise that following the completion of the purchase of Boundary Park that fans will be offered the chance to become co-owners through shares, likely in the form of both equity and/or investment bonds
- 19/06/19 FLG advise the outstanding matchday operation agreement is awaiting sign off by the club
- 13/07/19 FLG announce they will be opening the North Stand hospitality area as a supporters bar for the upcoming pre-season friendlies v Rochdale and Bolton
- 17/06/19 Club Statement advises that fans will be unable to watch the two pre-season friendlies from the North Stand. The clubs position is that the OEC have failed to honour existing liabilities towards the club from previous seasons and that commercial terms for the friendlies are unreasonable and would lead to financial loss.
- 17/06/19 FLG announcement in response to club statement advises despite contacting senior club officials to request a meeting to agree the details of a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the Joe Royle Stand for the 19/20 season and ongoing annual agreement, that the club has failed to reply to these requests. The FLG advise that the SLA has the same commercial terms as the previous 18/19 season with a 4% increase to cover a rise in wages and food costs (it is worth noting that inflation for 2019 is currently c1.9%)
- 17/06/19 FLG invite supporters to attend a meeting on 27/07/19 for an update on the full vision of the FLG.
Hopefully some fairly obvious voids can be bridged in the best interests of our club

If he tries closing the stand having already sold tickets for it then he might as well hand in the keys at the same time.
For me, people who have already bought a season ticket are amongst our most ardent fans and open to moving stands if AL closes the JoeRoyle Stand saying the Club would be losing money if we used it.
Some ill feeling granted but the vast majority just want to support the team

I’m not sure that matters? If you are simply sitting in the North stand and buying nowt then the FLG and/or Blitz get nothing do they?
Not sure on the catering (aside from exec shite) for match days but I always assumed it was revenue for the club on match days not OEC wasn’t it?
I think the Club got all revenue from the NorthStand on match days but surely the Club had to pay to rent tbr stand
Not 100% sure but why would Blitz give it to us for free

How i see it is we as fans will have a choice you either pay to do the hospitality in OEC with their profits going to pay blitz and co their rent and any other profits being split between the FG or you can sit in the RE or mainstand and contribute to the wages of the players and the running of OAFC...
As much as i cant stand AL and the way he works we need to ensure that the money generated on match days are for the club, the FG will attempt to suffocate AL to force him out but my worry will be what will happen if the FG between them don’t have the funds to carry on with the day to day running of the club and we may then become a club owned by the fans but we could be finacially worse off than ever before..
This is were I am at the moment tbh
Picking games to watch this season from the JimmyFrizzellStand
-
So after a 5min think:
If the FLG cant agree a deal with AL, he could simlpy:
1. Decide not to use the JoeRoyleStand
2. Relocate current JoeRoyleStand season ticket holders into either the MainStand or JimmyFrizzellStand (its not like we fill 3 stands in League2)
3. Save the Club £s by not paying any rent for the pitch facing JoeRoyleStand
4. The FLG continue to run the OEC with little/no matchday £revenue
5. Corporate entertainment packages £revenue for the Club would obviously take a hit by retreating back into the MainStand maybe
Hopefully a mutually beneficial deal can be struck between the FLG and the.Club
-
Baffling this !!
If the Club / AL doesnt own the NorthStand/JimmyFrizzellStand why would we want to put fans in it if it wasnt financially beneficial to our Club
The FLG dont own any part of the ground and have simply taken over the day to day running of the OEC (Oldham Event Centre).
Or have I missed something

The new filing date is tomorrow with CH, but they will file abbreviated accounts which don’t show that much. This stuff is nearly a year old now (the law is stupid on this point) it’s the following year where we will learn a lot. The Trust are supposed to be getting a more in depth look at the accounts, I think...
Personally I dont see it like that.
If AL has anything like a decent accountant he will clear the decks, throw everything he can into losses for the year up to June 2018, including the kitchen sink and blame it on the previous owner.

I dont think your comment is correct.
My understanding is that Brassbank are selling land to develop housing that allows them to reduce the price to the FLG to £7m to buy the North Stand, the land which is the footprint of the stadium and car park
