  1. What makes you think Gerrard is struggling Yarddog? Think he'll be a miss if he is. Not just defensively but thought his throw ins at Sheffield United had the potential to look dangerous. Something new especially so if Holloway is back.
  2. I agree not uncommon to protect assets this way - an event centre for example. I've no idea what the cost might be but to protect pitch side advertising? How far is protecting of assets taken? Perhaps more about the income which presumably won't belong to the club - but then I guess the funding of the purchase was not done from the club either. I am newer to this than most but so much around the ownership and running of the club is smoke and mirrors and the lack of communication on so many levels is staggering. I've been to every home game since January buying tickets for each online and have never had one email from the club trying to market their services....
  3. Not to stoke the fire but 3 March Led Media Limited was formed. The sole Director is.......
  4. I've signed up for next year - kids included - first time season ticket holder. Been to every home game since January. I agree it good value and it's really as my lads are showing an interest I've been sucked in. My son is 9 and his class there is one other who has a clue about Oldham. The Community Team do some brilliant work but I'm not sure how this turns into revenue - the kids love the coaching at school but it doesn't get linked to the football team. It's been enjoyable family outings for us - surely there are more in the same category but the word needs putting out there (through various methods) to get people in.
  5. I've lived in Chadderton for 6-years. Not originally from or have any affinity with Oldham, but am a football fan and in general would say I want to support the local club as a consequence - am also fairly fed up with the ridiculous amounts of money and lack of any local players in the Premier League. I also have a 9-year old son who loves football. The price reduction is a good idea in so much as it would encourage me to go. However, I agree the promotion of it is poor - am only aware of the offer due to this forum - Oldham could do far more in the community, with schools and local football clubs - there should be signs around the town. Also and irrespective of this, my 9-year old lad is only likely to be interested if there is entertainment - lack of goals and the team generally not winning does not encourage him to go which basically means I do not attend as frequently either.
