I don't think that's been established anywhere, just suggested in one or two posts that it's the case. I've not read anything about folk being happy with it. I don't think we need to understand it; just be thankful that he is (as far as we know) going to take it on as it could be the best thing that has happened to the club for a long time.

That will largely depend on who is picking the team. I really can't imagine Toot and Ploot having much of an insight into these two (surely Scholes involved somehow), so if they don't feature and we have either O'Grady or Vera starting, we know whose selection that is. If one or both of them start, then maybe PS is already a bit more hands on than we think.

The Championship produced an attendance 20 pointer; well done @youngen . His 22 points total moved him 7 places up to 3rd. Again, the top two stay the same, @JohnnyPimp climbs 4 places whilst @GlossopLatic posted too late and falls into the danger area . As in the other two divisions, the top two in League 1 are as you were and those in the play off places all stay there. If this is correct, and we've no reason to disbelieve it, two things. 1. Is it at all likely that AL and ML can change their attitude? 2. If Scholes does come in, how would he cope with that level of interference? I'm afraid it is leading to a monumental blow up, one way or another.

Interesting on the iFollow line ups. It has Sylla in a back four with Stott at LB. Nepomuceno, Maouche, Missile and Branger in midfield with Lang and Vera up top. We'll find out soon.

So, yet again, we have three full backs on the bench and presumably our most creative winger at FB. If PS is coming in, we can only hope that this is the last time AL interferes with team selection at the expense of results and performance. Recent performances, Macclesfield aside, have been in spite of AL, not because of him.
