  1. I've gone for Branger. It was a close call with Missilou, Nepomuceno, Edmundson and Baxter outstanding. I've long thought Branger would never make the grade, but his link up with Nepomuceno and his ability to take defenders on has been a revelation.
  2. The coming of the Ginger Prince was good news for Latics fans, but the night didn't turn out too well for @jorvik_latic and @singe in the Premier League. Both made edits after the cut off time (10 minutes before kick off) so the posts were null and void. The whole of @jorvik_latic's post showed as edited, and @singe's post showed a strikethrough of the attendance. As there is no way of knowing how the original post looked, we've had to play by the rule that any edit within the 10 minute cut off has to be ruled out. Unfortunately, It cost them 8 and 4 points respectively. @Ex_pat goes marching on, @stevesidg (10 points) only missed a 20 point attendance haul by +1. Bloody unlucky, that. @rudemedic falls into the relegation zone. No such drama in the Championship, where (ahem) @Bristolatic top scored with 7 points as @Benja and @yarddog73 exchanged places in the top two again. There was no change in the bottom six, but it's a right old battle for the play offs, only 9 points separating @Latics_Fanatic in 6th from @aidan_latics in 12th. @pjkent and @GlossopLaticneed some points quickly to get away from that danger area. In League 1, @Macca, top scorer with 10 points, moves into a play off spot at the expense of @Nohairdontcare, but @maddog and @Dave_Og still fight it out in 1st and 2nd. There's no movement in the bottom six, but maybe @Brisbaneblue has the best chance of escaping the drop. It will take a monumental effort from @Kusunga_Is_God to get out of trouble and @oafcprozac is already planning for life in League 2 next season. Premier League Championship League 1
  3. And I always thought you were luvverly. That's another myth gone.
  4. I haven't even had it done yet. The white bits are natural.
  5. Ah, I see. You can see what singe's original attendance post was, so I'm only discounting the attendance as you can see that the rest hadn't been changed. Have I got that wrong?
  6. It is void, Steve. @jorvik_latic has scored nil points
  7. Now, that is a bugger. It was edited at 19:37, just two minutes too late for it to count. 8 points down the Swannee.
  8. Sorry singe, the edit was at 19:42, 7 minutes too late, so your first attendance prediction counts. For nothing as it turns out.
  9. That was no more than Yeovil deserved. They were a disgrace and, with a ref that had some balls (this one was minus a pair), they could have been down to 9 men. The foul on Hamer would have been a red any later in the game. No one had a bad game, Missilou, Branger, Nepomuceno, Baxter, Lang were picks of the bunch. Excellent performance and Yeovil deserve to be in the Conference. Have a miserable journey back to Somerset, you bunch of thugs.
  10. Bloody hell, you should have talked someone out of going.
  11. My eyesight has been that badly affected, I can't see to right click. Everybody out!
  12. My daughter's three sons all play ice hockey. The oldest plays for Billingham Stars, and the other two play for Hull Sharks U18 and U16. It really is one hell of a game. As for tonight, it wouldn't surprise me to see Hunt back in and, just maybe, the Nottingham Forest lad as the two full backs. I reckon after Saturday's performance, Dearnley has to start RW, maybe Alofayan down the middle with Lang and Nepomuceno LW. I suppose Branger would be unlucky not to start after his magic 20 minutes, but he was bloody awful in that first half. Vera should be nowhere near the starting 11. He's the only bloke I've seen who is 6'2" standing up and 5'10" when he jumps for a header. I doubt he could trap a bag of wet sand, but what do I know? I wouldn't be too shocked if Baxter starts either. We've probably got a better squad than we think.
  13. As I suspected, the League 1 table was correct, but I'd copied the previous game's points into the predictions. It's all correct now. Keeping everyone on their toes, innit. Nah, can't do that. The hair (well, most of it) and the beard are growing nicely and so is the funding. But we need more and the MS trust is helping us every bit of the way with some great ideas. Now, back to this Prediction League Cup lark. Watch out @nzlatic, I'm coming for you tonight. After what @Ex_pat did to me on Saturday, someone is going to suffer.
  14. Well, that was a right bloody pasting. How many times have practised defending set pieces? I can only apologise to the fans and I guarantee a much better performance tonight. There will be changes to the starting 11.
  15. I'll double check later today. I think the weekly points column is last week's, but the correct points have been allocated in the League table. I'm out all morning, but back home this afternoon. Sorry if it's caused a few palpitations.
  16. @Ex_pat and @lookersstandandy were the highest scorers in the Premier League with 8 points, the former extending his lead at the top, and @rudemedic only missed the attendance by -7. Highest climber was @milnrow latics, up by 4 places. @SAV forgot to post. In the Championship, 8 points was also the top score, by @Handsy (climbing 4 places) and @HarryBosch. There's no change in the top five or bottom five, but @Latics_Fanatic moves into the final play off place. Again, in League 1, 8 was the best points haul by @south east latic, but at the moment there's no stopping @maddog and @Dave_Og in the top two places. The 6 points scored by @al_bro takes him into the last play off spot at the expense of @mick26. Premier League Championship League 1
  17. I ordered ours on line. The number on both counterfoils is 10828. Now that is some following. Ah, seats 10 & 11, Row D. I don't think the numbers mean very much.
  18. Really fancied this one, new ground and all that, but can't make it.
  19. Didn't we have a spy on Furtherwood Road this morning to see if he left on the team bus? What do we pay these people for? Oh, we don't pay them. As you were.
