    I can see both sides of the argument TBH. I would like to see him stay. My only concern is if we pick up another injury to Hazell and Stam before Gregan is back (if he back at all) we are screwed.

    Smalley is a quality young player who is currently playing out of position. He will not let anyone down. Get the feeling if he gets one he will go on a run with the goals. He played upfront at Tranmere and was quality and should have had a hatrick, he got is some great positions, only for the keeper to pull off two great saves. Lets keep off his back, he is only a kid and wont come into his own for 5 years.

    Its a joke, he is a regular, doesnt go injured very much, 9/10 a threat to defenders, 10 goals so far, yes he looks low in confidece - give the lad a break. How many bobbins games did KK have and still got the man of the match at BP (Utter joke) , same old boo boy mentality at this club that gets everyone down. We look solid at the back, lost one game in aroung 17 games, WTF do people want ?????

    Without being negative, I am a Taylor fan, but he has the touch of a baby elephant, something he gets away with on the flanks. Worth a try if we fail to bring someone in but would be a last resort.

    Yes Ross I meant Trotters, we always knew he would do well with a little run in the team, and he has. He has been brilliant and should have been offered a contract extension before the window opened. I understand the concern about another porter, but we should be trying to keep our young players.

I know you can use the old what would you do if you were offered more money for doing the same job, however Mr Porter could have done 2 things, kept to wis word or move to a Championship side and pay back the grass roots, he did neither...

    Why wasnt he offered a contract before Jan? Now his head will be turned.... So what we are saying is we didnt learn from the Porter fiasco? Anyone could see what a asset this lad is 12 weeks ago. First team or squad player, and he wouldnt have broke the bank.
