Beardy
Its a strange one this in all my years of going to games, i think this is the first one where i honestly dont care about the result.
kellys_discopants
I get what you mean ... but once the whistle goes i most certainly do, i know to many Dale fans for us to lose this one.
Lags
Looking forward to sending Ernie off in style like everyone else.............................. but I'll be pissed off if we lose. A win is a must.
Ohh Johnny Eyre
Whilst the game is all about Ernie and celebrating his life, if we lose my life won't be worth living, so a victory is a must
OldhamSheridan
Unless there is a promotion/relegation decider, this is without doubt the most important game of this season for me. Games like Everton and City are fun as you are expected to lose. If you do so, big deal and it is soon forgotten. Lose this and it could be years of :censored: (mainly because I've been giving Dale fans :censored: for donkeys about a game 34 years ago). Rocky_Latic
Its a strange one this in all my years of going to games, i think this is the first one where i honestly dont care about the result. Wish I could say the same pal. Like Paddy though, who's girlfriends a dale fan. Lose this and i'll never live it down. I'll probably not go dale this season if we get beat tonight as I know full well what i'd be in for. Win and i'll probably get a light hearted friendly kicking (dead legs, etc) in the Church pub next time I show my face, but least i'd be able to get up with a cheeky smile - followed by a "beat by the biffo's, you got beat by the biffo's". This is the most important game ever for me (bragging rights wise and definately the biggest game of the season personally), apart from City in the 90's when my old area was a City stronghold (and I mean a City stronghold. No one supported anyone bar them - apart from me and my brother that is) Losing is not an option. I really do have a bad feeling about tonight. I've just got the image of trudging away staring at the WMG able to pick out the familar faces pointing, laughing, gloating and getting there phones at the ready. Totally agree ... was bad enough living around here when they reached the playoffs ... they never shut up about it. If we lose tonight, then o my, im moving away .. far far away! ghostofcecere
Can't lose this, however bad things have got at Latics I've always been able to take the out of the Dale fans that I know. Losing this is not an option!!!!!!!! I've got away with the Rose Bowl as I've always been able to claim it doesn't matter, but this........... Fortunately for me i dont know many dale fans, so it doesnt mean a whole lot in those terms, but i can assure if we lose there will be a dale fan in Tenerife when i go! LaticsLee
wow so much negativity around here !! We will win and be in next round of the cup simple im very positive about tonight because that perkins lad is at colchester haha
Rocky_Latic
im very positive about tonight because that perkins lad is at colchester haha Perk's would have been missing anyway, as he got a 5 game ban for getting sent off against Darlo in the Playoff Semi. They've got Keltie though who played for Darlo that game who's a very good player (who we ourselves were linked with). I just hope Taylor gets the ball if he's still on the left tonight and gets told to run at Ramsden as much as possible as he's the weak spot in Dale's back four. Ohh Johnny Eyre
I haven't been able to sleep because I'm that nervous. That's what this game means to me. Full Strength team please Sheridan.
