Stitch_KTF
Staffing, policing, stewarding, catering, wages etc...sure the club will make losses for a replay Staffing? Most match day staff are paid with a ticket, besides, if that's wrong it's a few hours work for not very many Police? Ok I'm sure there is a cost, but it's only Cheltenham infront of 4000! Stewarding? See staffing. Catering? Doesn't that make money?!?! Wages? They are a fixed overhead Losses? Where? Maybe somebody at the club could clear up the general financial implications of a home cup replay? I would guess a fairly insignificant profit will be made, but then every bit helps when you're ploughing in thousands of your not-so-hard earned every month hey? Forte_Baby
i also think theres a good chance that morecombe v latics would be on tv. £50k still not bad for two wins No chance of this game being on TV there is atleast 5 more ties that could be selected ahead of us. Looking at it I think you are well and truly correct. Wycombe (if they make it), Brentford, Rochdale, Leeds, Brighton/Hartlepool all have away games at non-league clubs. Grays could well do Carlisle and make that another. Add to this ones like Gillingham v Stockport which are similar to ours then we are a fair way down the list. And that's before they stick the big clubs like Leicester, MK Dons and Peterborough on.
Diego_Sideburns
Curzon Ashton have already collected £49,500 in prize money for their exploits in the F.A. Cup. At the moment there is a distinct possibility that they will do better than Latics from this year's competition. OldhamSheridan
Have you not been watching Soccer Sunday Big Weekend 3 on Mondays? Peterborough are the second biggest team in Britain with their 80,000 all seater and unlimited transfer funds. Only behind MK who actually have a stadium the size of Britain - but if they extend it could squeeze in a billion or so. They own money. All of it. Peterborough are just borrowing their bit.
