JoeLatics
Latics boss John Sheridan has kept faith with the same starting XI for tonight's game against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park (KO 7.30pm). Kelvin Lomax keeps the returning Neal Eardley out of the side - the Welsh international must settle for a spot on the bench in place of striker Craig Davies. Latics: Fleming, Lomax, Golbourne, Gregan, Hazell, Taylor, Smalley, Allott, Whitaker, Windass, Hughes. Subs: Eardley, Stam, Maher, Liddell, Alessandra. Scunthorpe have named the following side: Murphy, Byrne, Sparrow, Thompson, Hayes, Hooper, Mirfin, Woolford, McCann, Wright, Pearce. Subs: Slocombe, Lea, Togwell, Hurst, Morris. Eards for Davies?! Good Lord, take Stam off man! Edited January 27, 2009 by JoeLatics

You would expect to see Davies in front of Liddell...We are chasing the game now and bringing Liddell on is not going to change things!!! This court case must be playing on his mind.

Spot on, unless Davies is one of the players who Shez thinks is just a homer (or maybe my impersonator........ no I said homER not hom.....) I'm in a reasonably good mood, considering we just got well beaten. 2nd place is the only one that counts and MKD lost at home.
