Diego_Sideburns
I've posted it on the Leicester Fans' Forum and got an encouraging response. Great read and some great pictures in and around Leicester... I am sure there are some Leicester fans that don't know that much about their own City, I certainly didn't know the Jewery Wall was the second largest surviving piece of Roman civil masonry in the country. Great blog thank you. Bringing knowledge to the East Midlanders.
Diego_Sideburns
Other comments on Ernie from Leicester fans on a different thread. OAFC, I thought your song for Ernie Cooksey was touching  Such a shame for someone to die so young. The folks responsible for the away days and updating that site are doing a great job, ive been sat here for over an hour reading through some of the great days out they've had. Fantastic. :chant:

jsslatic
Bringing knowledge to the East Midlanders. I was about to ask if this Jewry Wall had anything to do with my people...although the ever reliable Wikipedia categorically states it does not. Wow, mentions on both goal.com and the Ernie site in one weekend...must not let my new found fame get to my head... Entertaining report, as always. footy68
D S the pub we stopped at in Loughborough was a Toby Carvery........and at £4.90 for the Carvery an absoulte steal. The Beer was also well priced at around £2.20 for a pint of Lager. Just a shame the Police had to interrupt us.

I see, so what was posted on Friday about a Wetherspoon's pub was just to put the Police off the scent. Their intelligence must have been spot on. On the Leicester Fan's Forum it says there was trouble in a pub in Loughborough and someone else said it was QPR fans. Loughborough to Leicester fitted in nicely with Thomas Cook - you were almost recreating a moment in history. First rule of 'journalism' is don't let the facts get in the way of a good story. Diego_Sideburns
"Sean 'Mr T' Gregan"? Eh? Painting a picture with words. If you ignore Mr. T's colour and hairstyle, you have the leader (or a member) of not ony A-Team but our team. 'Journalisticl' licence! Diego_Sideburns
Just wanted to say that I could hear the Ernie chants on Sky. Well done everyone! The Ernie chants were a magic moment during a memorable performance both on and off the field. The applause that followed the chants showed the esteem in which Ernie's memory is held,
Diego_Sideburns
The Ernie Flag Report is now also on an alternative Leicester City site called Bentley's Roof (apostrophe omitted from its heading ). If you've ever been hit in the mush with the ball, which seems to happen regularly in the Chaddy End before games, you might be interested in reading about a woman who suffered that fate at Walsall. http://fansonline.net/leicestercity/index.php
Oafc88
I was proud to be there, to be singin the chants and holdin my shirt aloft with his name on the back (if you wonder it was off at the time as my cousin and a fair amount of consumed beverages persuaded me to take it off and wave it around lol) im glad we remembered to sing the songs that someone said we should do at games, especially for this one! top stuff guys ERNIE 4 ENGLAND!!!!! Diego_Sideburns
The Leicester City Bentley's Roof Message Board contains comments on the Flag Report and the Hibs link with the alleged trouble: http://fansonline.net/leicestercity/mb/view.php?id=96640 Nice to see I have been designated: Winner of the most comprehensive and articulate away supporters' report award 2009 in spite of the odd factual error.
