opinions4u Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I'm not a regular drinker (these days) but will be meeting a mate from Peterborough next week and the plan is to go for a pint before the match. I live close to the centre of Royton. Can anybody recommend a pub that's child friendly and away fan friendly within a mile of BP?
Zorrro Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 What about the Carters? I've not been in there for years, mind.

Benny_of_Shaw Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 What about Clayton Green, spitting distance.
Diego_Sideburns Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 There's no way you're Dutch. That's what I was thinking. All the Dutch members on here omit the apostrophes!
MikeF Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 There's the rifle range too, needs a longer spit than Clayton Green though
Markoasis Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 So you say your from Royton, can you prove it ?

jimsleftfoot Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 The Summit is not exactly spitting distance but its my favourite pre-match pub.

The Greyhound is where you will feel most at home with the criteria you set out.
