ThaiLatic
As most Thai names are long and unpronouncable, even for Thais, everybody has a "nickname" by which they are more commonly known. A few years ago my school had four pupils named Oh, Aye, Eff and C. Somewhere I have a photograph of the five of us together.

chaddy the owl
I used to work with a guy called Richard William Hurdus that used to make me laugh (Dick Willie Hurdus). Not heard about him for ages but he started up his own computer repair company and he lived in Royton near the cricket ground, anyone know him? He is probably about mid 40's now. I also used to deal with an electronics company called Wayne Kerr electronics, there still going these days and sell electronic equipment. Lincoln Blue
Whilst I was on a training course at RAF Cosford the guy in the next room to me really was called Willie Ankers. He didn't play for Latics though nor did he support us.

Killens_physio
Do you know any footballers names out of the ordinary, particularly those who played for the Latics ? Although not a Latics player or even an actual player, i remember chuckling quite a lot a few years back when i found out that Wolfgang Wolff was Wolfsburg manager!
