ste1987
Wouldn't surprise me if Rotherham will be his last club of his playing career now.
OldhamSheridan
Wouldn't surprise me if Rotherham will be his last club of his playing career now. Yeah, but what about War... No I can't do it.
Lags
Lucky Warney. One last stab for a whole hearted player without massive talent.
OldhamSheridan
Lucky Warney. One last stab for a whole hearted player without massive talent. Still remains my one of my favourite players of the last ten years. Just, so whole hearted.

Blue_tak
If only Lewi or Lee had his level of desire and motivation Have we seen enough of Lee to justify that comment?
Break The Silence
Still remains my one of my favourite players of the last ten years. Just, so whole hearted. 100% agree mate. I've been going regularly since 1989 so have seen some pretty decent players in our side. Not the most talented by any stretch but can't think of many who could match him for sheer effort and enthusiasm over those years. Warney will always be a Latics Legend in my book..... futchers briefs
100% disagree - Another mediocre player to ply his trade at a suitable level over a short period of time. Did try his best though.......... Not legend status in my book.
garcon
Not a legend for me either, but I could always see why he was popular, and his attitude alone made him a good player for us. Good luck to him, it's always nice to go "home" for your last contract and he deserves all the adulation he'll get from the Rotherham fans. johnny punkster
the term "legend" seems all too easily thrown about these days. not for me either.
davemathieson
Speaking of legend, he is over 35, could have been worth a shout for the Masters. Maybe next year. You heard it here first!
