Do however remember reading an article where Lee Clark did state that the owners had told him he has to get promotion this year as they have based their funding on Championship revenue....guess you could say the pressure is on!

Listened to him on radio leeds this morning and it was a really strange interview considering they are where they are after 3 games. He hardly mentioned the match and spent the whole time defending how much money he had spent saying he had not been given as much as was being reported and the board hadn't given him an open cheque book. It was very odd and sounded like he was getting his excuses in first.

They have strength in depth. they have a very good side this year and wont surprise me if they are champions this season.

Or CJ; if the wheels come off & they don't go up; having based their big spending on gaining promotion; they could very well find themselves in serious financial problems............expect & budget for a promotion that doesn't happen = problems
