The problem for Tranmere now though is that bearing in mind they appeared concerned they wouldn't be able to pay Barnes and Dave off then the budget may not be there now to bring in an experienced face. If they have to offer it to a rookie, be it the physio or Garnett or A.N.Other, then if they're no good Tranmere will be down by Xmas.
