Who's Your Player?

Recommended Posts

A bit of Corney'ing here and playing Fantasy Football for next seasons signing.

We have mysteriously been given £100K from an unknown source (stay with me here!!); but the money has some stipulations to its use. It can only be used for 1 player; and that player has be from a club that is in either L1 or L2 for the start of the 2010-2011 season. It can be split between an actual fee & agent fees / signing on fees; or used as purely signing on fees & wages for free transfers. Feel free to put any reasoning or thoughts next to you player choices.

I'd plump for the much needed creative midfielder: Chris Lines from Bristol Rovers - he gives goals from midfield with his tendency to arrive late in the box but at the right time. He's a dead ball specialist and gets a fair few free-kicks (something we lack) & is just a very tidy attack minded midfielder. Think the £100K would cover the fee and a small signing on fee nicely.

That striker who has scored 20 goals for Rochdale, can't remember his name. Big black fella.

100k for a season long loan of Neil Kilkenny if Leeds get promoted.

If Sly Stallone is going to come all the way over here and invest some of his money he is going to want more than a loan signing. Dear me, some people.

either dave perkins or julian gray

gray is better than this level has a left foot and is everything that taylor isnt and perkins because he absolutly bossed the game at stockport. hes a loan signing who gives his all and wants to win. everything goes through him he can create stuff win tackles and wind up the opposition while he is at it.
