Thank a guy named Bosman for this one FYI, I didn't have a ST last year...couldn't afford the outlay and would rather pay the £20 (well, £18 as I get mine the day before) each time. Missed Hartlepool as I was away (was gutted they moved the day of it) and Tranmere through illness. I've paid well over the amount of an ST over the season and more than happy to do that...and will be doing so again next season. When I step up to the ticket office...it might as well be blank paper or monopoly money...I don't even think about it. It'd be nice to support the Latics coz we're a decent side but we're not...and I bet when you 1st started going...we wasn't then either! That's never changed (well, maybe slightly for a purple patch)...sadly society has and it has no time anymore for patience, fairness and loyalty beyond reason (the sort you'd give to a son or daughter)...it's changed for the worse IMO.
