Recommended Posts

Thought about that. D'ya reckon would be okay for kids? Never been on it and just had the impression it might be a noisy piss up............... not that its a bad thing, just wondered if its okay for kids?

Oafc-lover will post a thread when the time comes for the Rifle bus, kids are fine on there also.

Here's a link to a family and friends railcard for £19.50. That's 25% off. Knocks a third off adult fares and 60% off child fares for a year

http://www.familyandfriends-railcard.co.uk/money

Using that would bring your fare for an open return ticket down to £42.75.

If you book on specific trains you can get (with railcard):

12:16 from Piccadilly for £17.85 for the two of you.

18:29 home from Carlisle for £15.70.
