Macca Posted April 22, 2011 Share Posted April 22, 2011 We can't guarrantee League 1 football next season today but a win against Exeter would require both Walsall and Bristol Rovers needing to win all of their remaining games and improve their goal difference significantly for us to go down. By saturday evening we could have another season in this division to look forward too! Also Chesterfield will be promoted today if Wycombe fail to beat Torquay away. I think we are safe with what we've done so far but it wouldn't be any harm to be sure of it would it? Concentrate totally on the new season. Hopefully Dickov can find a cutting edge between now and August. We aren't losing as much as we did with Penney but we aren't winning as many either. Dickov has turned us into draw specialists. Haven't got enough from this squad to defend leads and in the 2nd half of the season score goals. Even with Penney's negativeness I don't think we had as many Oldham Athletic 0's than we have had with Dickov. Get this season over and hopefully Dickov will work some magic in the summer.
