On Tuesday we played a side bottom of the league who we've managed to stick 6 past in the 2 games this season. How about letting them worry about us? Get him at right back. Dickov did all this messing around when he was trying to fit Clarke, Diamond and Mvoto into a backline without dropping Lee as well. Play him at right back ffs. I would sacrifice scapuzzi if he's costing us anything. We have cover on the left wing with taylor and i would try mellor further forward or have a look at connor hughes. It was good to see Lee getting forward from right back as well. Now if only our strikers could have stuck away one of those chances... beag_teeets Posted January 22, 2012 Share Posted January 22, 2012 He did well today, granted we weren't really challenged but Black did exactly what was asked of him. A few minor errors, he was also over exposed by his midfielder but was backed up by his centre back and even late on when "the opposition targeted him" he coped with it. At this level he LB does not win or lose the game, the team wins and loses the game, we did enough to win but didn't stick the ball in the net, until Black gets another injury he has that LB slot for me.
