I guess many of you might have already picked up my lad's video from the City game, but if you didn't this is the link: Apologies for abrupt loss of sound near the end. Alex will be there tonight filming the Wednesday game, so if all goes well we'll get it on here tomorrow sometime. Alex has had alot of mither when filming at grounds (it is totally non-profit) with Stockport County (we live a few yards from Edgeley Park) being really objectionable. Latics on the other hand couldn't have been more helpful and therefore he is feeling increasingly warm to the club. opinions4u Posted August 13, 2012 Share Posted August 13, 2012 While I doubt a pre-season friendly would cause any problems, the second you get in to filming games where a television contract exists it becomes a little more awkward for the club as somebody else owns the rights. So don't be surprised if there are issues. I still want to see the outputs though . County will simply have been complying with their broadcast rights issues with Premier Sports. Other's seem far more clued up what is & isn't allowed - but if your lad is able to continue to film at our ground - then more video's of this quality will be most welcome on here. Although Alex and I are City fans first and foremost, the support of Latics as a club and you guys as fans is so encouraging and it makes the soft spot that I have had for Latics (goes back to Bobby Johnstone..and then many others!) just get bigger & bigger. I have had a couple of PM's and will respond when I have sobered up (had a hard day doing Tours of the Etihad!), but they are very much appreciated. One question was .."has Alex got a job?" Bizarrely, if you had asked two weeks ago, I would have said, "Unfortunately, Alex hasn't had a job for over 5 years", but what happens... He starts work tomor...sorry, this morning as a videographer for a firm in Stockport!! Obviously, minimum wage..trial for two weeks initially,then 6 months as all jobs these days go...but fingers crossed! Thanks again!
