footy68
quite an annoying point that. how many times under PD have we been opened up? also how many goals have we shipped through sheer sloppyness?
UpTheLatics
I thought first 20 minutes M'Voto and Bynre were struggling to quite find the balance. McLeod was in between them and they our lads didn't quite know who was dealing with him. However, after that they were faultless. M'Voto is this season's true shining star - very impressive is every match. But as we say the back four need protection from the midfield and they got that yesterday. Simpo
I thought it looked like we were aiming for a rock solid defence this year. Losing 2 attack minded full backs and bringing in 2 big units in Byrne and Grounds. If you can't afford a 20 goal a season man, you better make sure you don't concede many. He may not be everyone's cup of tea, but look at Di Canio at Swindon. Instilled a desire not to be scored against. Sounds like we had that yesterday. Here's to many more clean sheets!
