NOTE: This information may be out-of-date in an ever-changing world.

Crawley Town, Broadfield Stadium, Winfield Way, Broadfield, Crawley, West Sussex RH11 9RX

Away fans are primarily housed in the North Stand at one end of the ground. This mostly-covered terrace can accommodate up to 1,600 fans. A small number of seats are also available to away supporters in the West Stand. The segregation of the terrace can be adjusted depending on the size of the away following.

Disabled Facilities:

The Club’s disabled policy is based on the levels of 'Disability Living Allowance' that the supporter receives as set out by the Government. If you are in receipt of 'Middle Rate' or 'Highest Rate' you are entitled to a free ticket for a companion to assist you.

Ambulant disabled and wheelchair user tickets cannot be booked online. Please contact the Ticket Office on 01293 410000.

If you have any specific queries regarding access to the Broadfield Stadium please contact the Disability Liaison Officer Gayle Vowels: gaylevowels@crawleytownfc.com

Tickets for disabled supporters for the West Stand are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

How to get there:

By Road:

From the M25 take the M23 Southbound towards Gatwick Airport and Brighton. At the end of the M23 (before it becomes the A23) leave the motorway at the last exit, Junction 11 (sign posted A264 Horsham, Pease Pottage Services). At the roundabout at the end of the motorway slip road turn right onto the A23 going towards Crawley. The ground is down on the left just before the next roundabout. It is a little obscured by trees, so look for the large red and white football on the roundabout itself and you will see the stadium entrance. Turn left at the roundabout and then left again for the stadium car park.

Car Parking:

A £3 car parking charge applies at the Stadium. NOTE: After the game it can take quite a while to exit the stadium car park.

There are other free parking options available close to the Stadium. For details see:

http://www.crawleyto...y301-288930.pdf

NOTE: New parking restrictions are now in place around the Stadium. These affect the grass verges along the A23 near to the stadium and prohibit parking from the Pease Pottage M23 roundabout northwards to the junction with Horsham Road (A2220) roundabout. The order also prohibits waiting, at any time, in the lay-by on the western side of the A23, around 350 yards south of the stadium.

By Train:

Crawley Train Station is estimated to be up to a 20 minute walk to the stadium.

As you come out of the station turn left and walk down to the T-junction. At the junction turn left into Brighton Road. Keep walking straight down Brighton Road for just under a mile and at its end turn right. You should now be able to see the stadium in the distance behind the traffic island. Use the underpass to cross the A23 to the ground.

By Taxi:

There is a taxi rank outside Crawley station, which will be charged by the mile (max 2 miles).

By Air:

Gatwick Airport is close at hand should you wish to fly in!

By Bus:

Metrobus services operate from Gatwick Airport, Crawley Station and Three Bridges Station.

Fastway 10 serves Broadfield Stadium every 7 minutes and drops you right outside the stadium.

Fastway 20 (Gatwick South Terminal only) serves Broadfield Stadium every 20 minutes

From Gatwick Airport - both terminals: Follow the signs saying 'local buses'. Catch either Fastway 10 or Fastway 20 in the direction of Broadfield/Bewbush. Ask for Broadfield Stadium

From Three Bridges Station: Go to Stop C outside of the station. Catch Fastway 20 to Broadfield Stadium.

From Crawley Station: Cross the road to Crawley Bus Station Go to Stop A. Catch Fastway 10 to Broadfield Stadium

Fastway 10 route Bewbush - Broadfield Stadium - Crawley Bus & Train Station - Manor Royal - Gatwick Airport

Fastway 20 route Broadfield Stadium -Three Bridges - Gatwick Road - Gatwick Airport-Horley

Railbus Tickets: Return rail tickets can be purchased to include Metrobus travel to/from the following stations for a small additional charge:

Crawley

Earlswood

Gatwick Airport

Horley

Ifield

Redhill

Reigate

Three Bridges

The rail ticket will show the word 'BUS' after the station name and is valid as follows:

Crawley, Gatwick Airport, Horley, Ifield & Three Bridges tickets can be used for travel on Metrobus services between the relevant station and any stop within the Crawley Borough area, plus route 20 throughout and on route 100 as far as Horley Row Benhams Drive.

Note: The bus station can be found directly opposite the train station.

Where to drink:

There is a bar at the stadium at the back of the Bruce Winfield Stand called the 'Redz Bar', which allows in away fans. Entrance to this bar is gained from outside the stadium.

Round the back of the ground there is a bar called the Town Mead Tavern which allows away supporters if segregation is not enforced.

The closest pub to the stadium is the Half Moon on Brighton Road (A2219). This is about a five minute walk away going towards the town centre. Another pub close by is The Downsman, which is on Wakehurst Drive, just off Southgate Avenue'.

To find these pubs, come out of the stadium car park entrance and turn right and go back up to the main roundabout. Cross the dual carriageway using the underpass and go straight on into Southgate Avenue (A2004). For the Half Moon take the first left off Southgate Avenue into Brighton Road (A2219) and the pub is up the road on the right. For the Downsman also go to Brighton Road, then take the first right in to Wakehurst Drive. Continue along Wakehurst Drive to find the pub on the left.

Where to eat: No details available except Piza Hut mentioned below.

Attractions:

Crawley is a new town, so there's not much in the way of history. You could though enjoy the thoroughly modern experience of the brand new Crawley Leisure Park, actually built on the site of Crawley's old Town Mead ground, and includes a multi-screen Virgin Cinema, and what’s claimed to be the mother of all Pizza Huts!

The town is only a short drive from Brighton if you fancy making a weekend of it.

The leisure park is pretty well stocked with restaurants - Nandos, McDonalds, TGI Fridays, Bella Italia, Chiquito etc. All the same old :censored:, but some like it.

In the town centre I can definitely recommend the Giggling Squid - excellent Thai food. Alternatively there are a few good curry houses - the best is probably Cinnamon. Plenty of places to eat in the centre, but parking isn't great.

If you're flying to/from Gatwick, the Snooty Fox opposite Three Bridges station (probably 5-10 mins further from the ground than Crawley station) shows footy on the big screens and serves typical pub grub.

Looking forward to this one - one of my few Latics games. The others will be Gills, Brentford and Orient - and Boundary Park when Crawley come up. I live 5 minutes from the ground, and enjoy watching live football, so I see Crawley a lot,but this is the only one at the Broadfield (er sorry, Check a Trade Stadium) where I'll be in the away end rooting for Latics. A surreal experience I can tell you. Crawley are awkward at home at the moment and have shipped too many goals - they look a different proposition away. If you're actually arriving at the ground, as opposed to walking from the station, I'd recommend the Redz bar at the back of the far end (Bruce Winfield Stand). Away supporters are welcome, you can watch the early match on Sky, and the beer's reasonable - by South East standards anyway. Carlsberg is £3, with San Miguel 30p more. I look forward to seeing you all on the day, and hope to see the Ernie Cooksey flag - Ernie is fondly remembered down here where he played left back when Crawley were in the Conference.

The Ernie Flag will be there again. Here's the report on last season's visit. Hoping for a repeat of the minute's applause in Ernie's memory after 28 minutes.

I've heard it's best to avoid drinking around Crawley on match days as an away fan and to keep colours well hidden around the ground.

Woof.

Didn't have any problems last year. The bar at the club was very welcoming, and whilst the town centre is a :censored:hole, I doubt there'd be many Crawley fans out looking for latics fans to beat up on.
