beag_teeets
It could help with confidence, having more to their game than a lot of the players they are up against. It could get you down struggling to make the breakthrough. At the fans forum Dickov talked about blooding youngsters, specifically Dan Taylor, he said that kids are used to playing with their age group and it is a shock to the system to be playing with men, it can be hard for them to adjust and often fall out of love with the game. Both Mellor and Millar have had sporadic senior careers, Mellor definitely needed taking out of the firing line when he was played at left back, plus there was the story about him and Winchester spending more time at college than on the pitch, to me this is about them getting games under their belt and giving them both a bit of an insight of where their careers could go if they don't give the old 110% each and every day. Twisbrogan
The way the team line ups are listed seems to hint at Mellor playing at left back which would surprise me. I'd have thought at relatively lower levels, he'd be playing in centre midfield to use his passing & strength.
