Omar Don't Scare
Stats don't lie. Out of the whole 66 teams who played all their 2012 football in the football league we finished 58th. We played 48. Won 13. Drew 11 and lost 24 with 44 scored 65 conceded and 50 points gained. Of teams who were also in league one only bury and Hartlepool appear lower. http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2013/01/02/woeful-2012-for-qpr-points-to-unlucky-2013-and-relegation-020101/ Don't know if its been posted before? Even more alarmingly is that there are only 2 teams out of the 66 FL clubs who have scored less goals than us, and we've had some good attackers over the past year with Kuqi, Derbyshire and Baxter all being at the club. No wonder crowds are deteriorating rapidly. Edited January 2, 2013 by NewBlue

We need to buck this trend if we want any chance of survival. We all know Dickov's seasons in charge have been 2 totally different halves, hopefully from now until May will be the better half otherwise we are :censored:ed. Omar Don't Scare
Looking at that we'll finish 4th bottom. Given that Pool & Pompey are probably buried it wouldn't shock me

Great statistic - it confirms what we all knew - for all the promise on paper and the occasional slick play and the media savvy performance from PD, we have (and are) in decline - reflected as you say by league position, crowd figures and the sentiment on this board. Simon Corney has shown great loyalty to Paul Dickov and for that he is to be commended - but time is running out - and all know that is the case... LeylandLatic
Comparison between teams in completely different divisions sounds like pretty useful information. I'll add it as an appendix in my thesis on apples and oranges.
