ZiggaZaggaAthletic
2002/2003: 5th on 82 Points (Lost to QPR in play offs) 2003/2004: 15th on 57 Points (7 off relegation) 2004/2005: 19th on 52 Points (1 off relegation) 2005/2006: 10th on 65 Points (6 off Play offs) 2006/2007: 6th on 75 points (Lost to Blackpool in play offs) 2007/2008: 8th on 67 points (9 off playoffs) 2008/2009: 10th on 65 points (9 off playoffs) 2009/2010: 16th on 52 points ( 2 off relegation) 2010/2011: 18th on 56 points (9 off relegation) 2011/2012: 16th on 54 points (11 off relegation) 2012/2013: 19th on 51 points (3 off relegation) - We have such strange seasons. We are either in the play offs, where we lose! Miss out on the play offs by a few points or avoided relegation by a few points. It seems to have all gone down hill through the appointments of Dave Penney and Paul Dickov so lets hope Lee Johnson is the mark of an uprising in the table. An average league position of 14th in the last decade, but I sense a good season this season, so lets be optimistic! In LJ and the board we trust! lookersstandandy
I'm finding it difficult to locate the corresponding average attendances without rifling through programmes, have found the below, although not sure if they're accurate, some don't look right to me..... can anyone help me out; 2002/03 2003/04 2004/05 2005/06 2006/07 2007/08 - 6,047 2008/09 - 6,261 2009/10 - 5,373 2010/11 - 4,798 2011/12 - 5,007 2012/13 - 4,
jimsleftfoot
I think that missing out by only a few points can be explained by it being a tight division.
PlayItLivo
Hmmm, to be fair to Shez he turned the 2007/2008 season around a fair bit, it was a train crash until we went on that away game winning streak. As those stats show, continual regression.
HarryBosch
Is Shez, pound for pound, the best manager we've had since Royle? Dowie did better but with a lot more money. Moore did worse with a lot more money. Better football than either of those two aswell.
AndyGortonsMatches
Some stats? Ok then. We need to play each match likes its the final day of the season.... because... IF we add up our final day results from the past 23 seasons... P23 W12 D7 L4 Pts 43 So double that and automatic promotion beckons, simples.
