Stevie_J Posted October 7, 2013 Share Posted October 7, 2013 The OS said the ref and his assistant maintained that Batt didn't get a touch to Lisbie’s wayward goal attempt. The implication being that they knew he was in an offside position but did not touch the ball. The fact that he’s been credited with the goal proves the officials wrong. Replays clearly show he touched it but I reckon he was onside (played on by Winchester), in which case, whether the officials think he got a touch or not is pretty irrelevant. I was sat above and behind the officials when they talked. The ref asked the lino if he touched it. The lino replied it went straight in. Wankers.
