dec666
Was impressed with Mellor at CM today. Wasn't scared to run with the ball and was only denied a goal by a brilliant save. I think LJ needs to give him a run of games in the middle now, show some confidence in him and he'll only get better.
blueatheart
Why did we sign Anton?
OAFC_Ryan
Why did we sign Anton? I think we all know the answer to this......
palmer1
Good with the ball at times, terrible without it and if you can't play without it then you can't play. Needs to work on his positioning and closing down, maybe be better wide as he has a sweet left foot.
bigfatjoe1
It's all about opinion. I think he can strike the odd pass but is piss poor in terms of work rate, athleticism and positional sense. He really irritates me. He stands around like a dope. We lack quality. Mellor sums it up. Not good enough. We have nobody of the quality of Baxter, Derbyshire, Croft or even Lurch. Mellor? No.

No. I've noticed now in many matches he's a very slow starter - both halves, this is something the manager needs to sort out for the benefit of the lad and the team. I can see him moving on and becoming a very good player in a few years time, unfortunately for him the team needs experience at the moment. With the right coaching and given a consistent run he could become a very good midfielder. Nobody seemed to mention poor workrate or positional sense in his good run alongside Smith last season. I just hope we don't regret not giving him the opportunity!
Oh Heck C-Beck
I've only seen him in the Mansfield game as I am not in the uk but he stood out as the best passer of the ball in the team in terms of range of passes. His set pieces let him down that night.
