Didn't go today, but whenever I've seen him, I've always thought he leaves his full back a bit over exposed... After seeing the 2nd goal I wholeheartedly agree with this. Mellor got destroyed for pace but Harkins seemed to double up on Humphrey until Humphrey started moving. Harkins just stopped and watched him! When I suggested moving Harkins inside it was said he would leave the midfield exposed, well he leaves the full back exposed now - so which is preferable? Personally, I think he would score more goals running from deep at centre backs rather than trying to turn full backs (he's often doubled up on now anyway while out wide). yarddog73 Posted March 10, 2014 Share Posted March 10, 2014 id like to see im have a run in the middle he is no more mobile than what shezza was and we formed a team around him he should be the go to man korey just aint cultured enough and even the fans in the stand are having to prompt him when in possesion, the first half against posh was gale force wind in your face and you want to judge harkins on that ? i think to accomodate harkins you could play 3 at the back with 2 mobile wingbacks but we just dont have the players, there is a young lad in the youth/reserve team who plays left back he looks handy but he is a first year scholor and it would prob be too much for him but the players in there now just aint good enough.
