Anyone fancy buying shares in a Spanish football team? Real Oviedo are offering shares again till the end of May.

 

I bought shares a few years ago & they've become a big part of my life now, as anyone who follows me on Twitter will know.

I've been out 4 times & made so many friends, including ex latics trialist Diego Cervero. He still has good memories of Oldham & has two latics shirts, one from me & one from Diego Sideburns.

Depends whether you ask someone who failed to file the trust's accounts for seven years or someone else.

 

It does go to show how fan ownership is but a distant dream unless you have a massive fan base who all have stacks of cash. And they're the clubs that people really want to own privately because they have a realistic chance of making some money.

It's the least Senora Sideburns and I can do, having been treated like royalty and made 'honorary' shareholders on our visit.

 

If only those t-shirts read: MATA, CAZORLA, MICHU, CERVERO!
