The only problem is a L1 pacy winger generally has one fundamental problem......they can't cross a ball for toffee or they would be playing higher up the leagues. And after all we have about as good a record with wingers over the last few as we do with strikers! Spot on. Holden and Redfearn couldn't out pace my granny, but they had fantastic crossing/passing ability. It's quality that counts, and you don't get a lot of that at this level. DK just needs to tell the wingers to whip the ball into the penalty area and have men waiting for them..These were Roger Palmer's simple instructions to Ricky Holden.
