Crusoe
Latics-related loss of speed? I think the same thing happened to Dean Windass.
Ackey
I've not experienced the same issue; has anyone else on here? @singe do you know what level of traffic scans your IT department conducts?

Not sure what you mean Ackey! It's an outsourced company we use. Edited June 28, 2017 by singe
Ackey
Well my thinking is that if it only happens at work, not at home, and it only happens for you no one else (that we know of yet...) then it is most likely something to do with your work's connection to the internet. At which point the most likely thing is that something in the filtering/monitoring software used by your provider doesn't like something which OWTB is passing. Trying to pin this down will be messy frankly, but that's where I'd start...

Before we moved to outsourced Co, OWTB was blocked by Websense, but now seemingly not. But very possible someithng inth e background is monitoring, not neccesarily blocking. I'm going to assuem that it is being monitord at work!
Crusoe
Always assume everything is monitored at work. Could be monitoring/blocking some components, e.g. ad hosts.
ChrisRichard
Hi mods. I know this isn't connection speed related but the username thread is archived. I have an issue when signing in. I usually sign in with Facebook and my old account used to appear which is the one I usually sign in with as Chris Richard. However, I've changed my phone and when I sign in with Facebook now it takes me to another account that I don't use under username Chris Richard with no space. Any ideas why? TIA
