  1. All those Brill backers who are saying he has done nothing wrong.......... pretty sure in the last two games the opposition has had 6 shots on target (possibly 7) and we have conceded 6.
  2. i think you're the one that needs to get a grip! as i mentioned in an earlier thread our only sort of income will come from a cup run or selling players. Dropping Furman may result in us losing Furman in January. If a good realistic bid comes in for him in January we won't be able to turn it down; if we had beat Accrington and managed to get to the third round and get a reasonable tie we may have been able to gain enough money to keep Furman. Lets be serious now, our chances of promotion are pretty slim. Id say there are at least 5 or 6 teams better than us and even if we managed to scrape in the play-offs we would struggle against some of the teams in there. If somebody before the game had offered me either a win in the 1st round of the FA Cup & a 4-0 loss to Huddersfield or a loss in the FA Cup and a draw/win against Huddersfield i would have taken the first. This club needs any sort of income it can get and promotion doesn't look likely. I agree the players should take a good chunk of the blame but Dickov made a big mistake yesterday and Im surprised he hasnt mentioned that in his interview
  3. Didn't know until Saturday against Plymouth when i did the same and shouted for offside from a goal kick only to be told that you couldn't be offside. Think they only brought it in 2 seasons ago but i could be wrong
  4. Pudding. Agree with Jonesy. Looked a League 2 player at best, unfortunately we looked Conference level in our defending. Would much rather have Taylor, Tounkare, Kelly, Brooke and maybe even Feeney
  5. Probably the best player today but only because everybody else was crap (Evina was average). After the performance today my initial thought wasn't that he's going to be amazing and we would sell him for a lot. He is only 17 and has potential but he should have been stronger in the tackle for the first and he looked a bit suspect defensively at times in the second half. Some good runs in the 1st half though. Average performance todat which may have looked better to people as everybody else was crap
  6. He may not have been at the game but he is right! Drop the two best players this season for such a massive game. I worry for us as the only sort of income would be a cup run or to sell players.
  7. Still wouldn't be near the first team. If Furman or Stephens dont play he will play Jones in the middle. Jarrett would be a better midfielder as well as he has spent most of his career there. 5th choice at best
  8. Agree with the first point. Think people are thinking it was better than it was because it was a fairly good result and quite a good atmosphere. The game itself was dire! Thought they were poor and we were happy with a draw although I think we should have gone for it a bit more as the 3 points were definately there for the taking. Dissapointed in Stephens at the moment, can't remember him having a good game since he signed his contract; gave the ball away a lot and slowed down a couple of promising attacks
  9. I agree! A win is a must and if not sack everybody! Wednesday are small club, we need a win! If we don't win on Tuesday I think the club is in trouble!
  10. This guy doesn't like us http://www.skysports.com/fanzone/blogs/sto...6365371,00.html
  11. Sounds like he's a tad upset that these so call "dog-shows" that his wife has been atteneding have turned out to be her dogging exploits
  12. The game is all ticket. Can i get a ticket from Brightons ticket office before the game? as i have no chance of getting to BP before Sat.
  13. Didn't go today so don't know how he played but this is from a report by virginmedia "Reuben Hazell was a rock at the back for the visitors and unlucky to finish on the losing side." http://www.football.virginmedia.com/page/O...1795270,00.html
  14. Agree with pretty much everything there. I have no idea why Penney is playing two defensive midfielders in :censored: and Worthington. It should be one or the other with somebody more creative with him, i would say Furman but today he sat very deep and wasn't as attacking as I would have thought. No idea why Parker keeps getting into the starting eleven either.
  15. Played and scored against Gillingham in the Carling Cup, then came on as a sub against West Ham in their last match. Won't be able to get him.
  16. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11730_5424988,00.html Doesn't realy look like him imo
  17. Read a few articles in the past day or two, stating that we played Liverpool in a friendly on Wednesday night. Just wondering if anybody knew who played (im guessing nobody who played at carlisle) and what the score was.
  18. Well if he's too lazy! Oldham manager Dave Penney was happy with his side's creativity in the opening-day goalless draw at Stockport. The Latics, who paraded eight new signings in their starting XI had a frustrating afternoon, beginning when penalty appeals were refused after Pawel Abbott went down in the box. Penney said: "We had 11 shots on target so you have to be fairly happy when you have created so much up front. "The first 30 minutes were not great but then we started passing the ball much better and played some good football. "Their keeper made great saves but if we carry on making so many chances they will start going in sooner or later. "I'm especially happy with the clean sheet because that is something we have struggled with in pre-season."
  19. Skysports.com understands Liverpool defender Robbie Threlfall is poised for a loan move away from Anfield. A number of clubs are thought to be keen on signing the talented left-back, who is also equally adapt at centre-half, after Liverpool made him available for a loan switch. The 20-year-old is highly regarded at Liverpool and the Anfield coaching staff are willing to farm him out again so that he can continue his development. Threlfall, who had loan spells at Hereford and Stockport last season, endured a frustrating campaign last term with a metatarsal injury, but he is now back to full fitness and has caught the eye in pre-season. His performances have not gone unnoticed with the player being subject to several enquiries about his availability ahead of the new season. Reds boss Rafa Benitez is keen to send him out on loan as he continues his policy of farming out his best young players so that they can regular first-team action under their belts http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5474789,00.html

  23. According to Macclesfields OS Rene Steer is one of the trialists tonight. Left Back according to Wiki, released from Arsenal last month. Went on loan to Gillingham last season and made 5 appearances
  24. O'Grady is a free transfer for some reason at the start of the game. Wouldnt bother buying any of them, unless your just editing it. Tips; Seyfo Soley (dm - free transfer), Calin Cristea (lw - 30k) and Hamilton Ricard (st - free transfer)
