  1. So Chesterfield FC doesn't have a duty of care to make sure the players are safe. Yesterday was avoidable with preventative measures.
  2. Because we have a large number of teenage lads following us.
  3. Which bit? No offence Dave but when was the last time you went to Chesterfield?
  4. Not an excuse it's a fact. The only reason why it didn't happen last season was because we scored at the opposite end of the pitch
  5. My comment still stands. Chesterfield's away end is an issue. It's not the first time this has happened (Peter Clarke's late goal in 2017 springs to mind). If we were in the side stand, that wouldn't of happened yesterday.
  6. Maybe we should start a gofundme collection for the club?
  7. Chesterfield and Scunthorpe are two grounds you can near enough guarantee a pitch invasion if any goals are scored. Yes people shouldn't run on the pitch, but when you have a shite tinpot ground policed by half arsed stewards what do you expect. Fuck em.
  8. Yeah that's my point. The club pushed to have him as manager for their own benefit. I can't imagine he was banging on door begging for a job. For that reason he can't be blamed for not having his heart in it.
  9. Yeah it was for publicity but by the club. I bet they pushed for it more than he did. Why the fuck would he need the publicity?
  10. Had enough cash from ALMO?? It says a lot when after Scholes left the only person they could find to manage the team was a rookie who had no first team managerial experience and after a couple of months even he fucked off!!
  11. I just think he realised the shit show behind the scenes and thought fuck that. Don't blame him in the slightest. If I walked into a job so badly managed I'd do the same.
  12. So with that frame of thought you blame Shez for getting us relegated then?
  13. Wonder why Wigan's attendance hasn't dropped like ours did? They still get the same now as what we did in our last season in the top flight.
  14. In the same season didn't United get a crowd of 18K for one of their league games? It might of been just football in general.
  15. We have always had a fickle fanbase. Such as when we lost a third of our home support from the last game in the top flight to the first game in the 2nd tier in 94.
  16. It was brewing with their number 15, things were being said with a bit of shoving off the ball. Then Nuttall purposely barged into him again infront of the ref.
  17. Supporters negativity will only disappear once we have something to finally celebrate. We have a bitter fanbase but for good reason. It's usually people who were fortunate enough to remember the glory years who don't understand this. Try being under 40!!
