  1. Quite, they won't fire him if he's within a few points if the play offs. I may have not put it across properly. Whilst we are in with the pack chasing 7th it seems he'll be fine. They're willing to give him until mid December as they feel that gives any manager enough time to catch up. There is genuine bemusement from senior staff and directors at the fans views.
  2. We've been told that the manager doesn't make the call solely on transfers. He clearly wanted a right back and they've not planned the signings well. Raglan and Norwood are good signings but they've caused issues as their positions have cover / new signings already in place. It's a mess.
  3. Local owners and directors local knowledge........
  4. Royle / recruitment guru The recruitment this season has been a disgrace really
  5. Buy the club, make a plan, call the shots.......
  6. They've not sorted him a proper right back and the midfield is a disgrace but theyve sorted him an army of centre backs and strikers. He's not the only one to blame for this mess.......
  7. Latest I hear is he is to get to mid December before a decision is made. View is as long as we are within a good run of the playoffs (like now) there is no need to panic. He's going to get time as long as he keeps us in the mix. If we are mid table in December and they HAVE to change manager the view is we can mount a run and get in the top 7.
  8. 4 outfield subs. He can play left wing, right wing, up top in a 2 and any of a 3, and I'm sure Curle had him wing back at one point! Great option off the bench at this level if he's not starting. Tollit like Rooney and Fondop can play one position. Not good enough to command that stop so IF we sign this lad Tollitt needs sending to Halifax.
  9. I don't think we are in for him myself. Agents playing games. If we did sign someone who plays up top or wide left of a 3 I'd imagine both Tollit and Fondop will be gone. Both or one would be used to tempt Halifax in selling their right back no doubt.......
  10. Hard one to work out as if it's two up top you'll want one to play off like Nuttall or Fondop. I just can't see Reid being that out of favour. I'd get rid of Fondop, can't run over an hour, only plays one position and is miles off the others ability wise.
  11. Never once saw him having that edge in terms of getting physical with the opposition. Over dramatic nonsense is no good as it undermines the manager. He left his last club because of his attitude. Same again here it seems.
  12. He was punching the walls of the corridor to the dressing room when he was subbed at his last home appearance
  13. Yarney and Rooney are on the way because of attitude. I'd actually say Tollitt would be the same as it's a lack of effort and fight that's seen him dropped. Arguably we've replaced all 3 with better already.
  14. Defo looking at swapping or adding players to deals for targets
  15. Halifax interested in a few of ours. I won't name them as I want to sound mysterious and superior.
  16. Club offical was calling it burgundy at a home game last season. It's not far off to be fair.
  17. Odd we'd need international clearance to sign a British national who was already in the country and played for us last season so would have had FA clearance. Almost hard to believe...........
  18. Lads his ask was mental money. We went half way. Our offer is pulled no matter what Oldham Times says. People talking about tranfer fees, we don't want him and aren't extending his contract. He's gone.
  19. Fees for kids are based on time with the club. Atkinson was definitely at City earlier. Doubt we'll get much for any of them. Shite deal in place now for youth players.
  20. Abdallah spent his money on whoever he say fit. All owners and boards do. No reason why fans can't say things are mistakes. We've made some last season. Doesn't mean I don't think those running things aren't competent.
  21. He's clearly a lovely bloke. We should all be wanting and backing him to do well.
