  1. It's blue, red round collar (dont hold me to that) and tangerine detailing. Away is burgundy.
  2. Played ok Saturday. By far the better of our 4 current strikers.
  3. Given Barrows form he'll be available soon
  4. I agree a modern thinking young hungry appointment would be my choice. Be that a former player like LJ or someone who has made a career coaching and looking to move up, a Wild type 1st time round. It won't be Wild.
  5. So they ignore his tactics just after he's spoken to them but then they remember them 10 mins later? Or they go out do as they're told and then drop off because they're absolute maggots.
  6. Yet they constantly come out after half time and press and hurry the opposition for 10 mins or so.
  7. Ugly football is acceptable. We've not had time together as a team. Mixed results, possibly acceptable, see above. What cannot be acceptable is the lack of effort or energy across the side. Shite 1st half, 10 mins of effort 2nd half and if we've not got ahead they die off. Unsworth clearly roasts them at half time as the 2nd half nearly always sees an upturn in intensity. Players are as equally to blame if not more than Unsworth. Taking liberties. Those 2 goals last night, wow.
  8. Sheron is shite. You can't play Central midfield if you can't pass or tackle.
  9. 3 of the first 4, all very tough games. All the others I'd expect us to compete and get some points across those games.
  10. Some of who have got away with murder. Teams in 10th in this league are just as shite as those lower down. Seeing grown adults suggesting they are worried about playing Solihull at home, flabbergasted.
  11. Many of the players have improved under Unsworth. Sheron is a prime example. Sutton has been great at right back. Not many gone backwards IMO, not yet anyway. Many too new for people to be suggesting the manager is hindering them. Hogan boots it out constantly because he's shite on the ball. No ones fault.
  12. So if we are playing swashbuckling city style football th is ok next season? Seems odd to nail top 3 down as a requirement if we are playing a more boring style*. Plays off / promotion push will be exciting whatever the style no? *we won't. The adults have understood his recent comments re playing more as we go on.
  13. It's already being lined up, anticipated even, by those wanting to be proved correct that he needs sacking. He probably warranted the sack in November and December. They backed him and signed Nutall. We're now getting there as a side. Kill relegation off and then he can experiment for the last few games hopefully.
  14. I think as they gel the football will come. A decent right back and someone in midfield who can move the ball around and we're bound to 'look' better.
  15. We've so many signings it's hard to be well drilled and a cohesive unit. The different units of the pitch have played single figures together. It'll come. No other side will have had the turnover we've had since the summer and then again when Shez got the boot. Last 10 league games, only Notts County and Wrexham have outscored us. We've scored over 50% of this seasons league goals in those 10 games. Nuttall in particular has been key to that as he's a good foil up top. The test is if this can be maintained. Won't carry on all season but clearly this side we have now is capable of beating sides, even if it's just because we have better finishers. I recall that Scunthorpe side we battled with were shite, just had Beckford and Hooper scoring most chances they get. Many ways to skin a cat. There is no reason given a full pre season, one or two more quality additions and time together that this side won't be one of the better sides in the league. Patience, think of your blood pressure.
  16. Banned until Windass and Maynard are out of contract.
  17. We should have points deducted for any points we get because our goalie is better than theirs as well, fairs fair.
  18. Nutall will be a very trusted strike partner. Does all the dirty work. Needs a rest but he's in our best 11 all day. I think him and Reid could be a great partnership with the right service.
  19. Not many clubs with the amount of new players in their starting 11. Non of the players who started played last season bar Sutton (I think). Of the other 9 outfield players 7 of them joined mid season, so no pre season and time on the training ground. All 5 subs were new. 3 of the 4 outfield lads joined mid season, the other is Gardner whose missed most games. I'll say now no club will be in that position in all the top 5 leagues. It's not an excuse to be shit, it will be a contributing factor if we look less of a team than other sides. We are less of a team, we are pulling through as in most games we'll have better players.
  20. Fondop can't run after an hour. I'd guess Nutall is knackered as he's played a fair amount of the mins we've had since he came. I think Nutall will benefit from Fondop being his back up now Reid seems to have got into the starting 11.
  21. They will knock it about better and have a better shape, they've been playing together for months or years. Had a full pre season etc. The idea you can throw all these players in and expect them to know each others games instantly is nonsense. The more we play together the better our play will be. At the moment the team has changed so often it's understandable they're not in sync. He's been able to keep a steady side recently and we've ground out results. Missing one or two in midfield for me but Reid and Nuttall will improve their understanding each game. As will the whole back 4. It takes time to build a team.
  22. We've only one midfielder who can take care of the ball, Rooney. Seems to not be physical enough to play centre mid. Only our left back can pass the ball in the back line with any confidence. This causes a massive issue if you want barca style passing patterns. Tollet is a joke on and off the ball. Sheron bless him is very limited football wise. Shilton not much above Sheron for me. Gardner is the answer but he's done. Hogan and Yarney aren't ball players, they look up and see Shilton and Sheron. I'm not suprised they just knock it up / out. I'd only trust Rooney in the midfield to receive the ball tight and find a blue shirt with anything meaningful.
  23. Not bothered in the slightest on the 'product'. Give me 90 of the ugliest points next season and promotion back into the EFL. We sacked Moore and Warnock in part because of style, they both went onto do well elsewhere.
