I recently watched Soccer am and one of the guys from Blink182 said that he now lives in Chelsea so he suppoerts Chelsea as that's the American way of doing things.Perhaps we can learn from something from the Yanks after all.

I am not talking about people who support another club as well as us, I am talking about "local" people who support a clubs instead of us" Get a grip.

Not talking about people from another town, I am talking about Oldhamers born and bred who haven't got the balls to support their home town club

Unfortunately many thousands of people in our town do give a :censored:e about these clubs and thats why we are in the :censored:e

Can't help but noticeing the transition of "Oldhamers" from being closet red's to even bigger dickhead " blues" In my opinion the scummers built their success of the last 20years by using the Munich sympathy card (and the diobolaclly disallowed Nick Henry goal) to build their success but at least they didn't actually buy it. Just to put the record straight it was not started by anyone wearing a chicken hat .It was started by a guy in block 124,row 26,around seat 80 directly in front of me and I don't believe for one minute that it was intended as anything but a genuine tribute to Wayne.

Still got my Genoa scarf which was swapped for a Latics tangerine one when boarding the coach after the game.Have to agree that that was the coldest I have ever been at a football match and would like to think that I saved the life of a fellow tics fan when I got the paramedics to attend to some pillock who had taken his shirt off and literally turned blue before collapsing. Overall though a brilliant day out

Having trawled through most of this I don't remember seeing anything that concerns me most about this whole scenario. MK is reported to have said that Oldham is a rugby town. Given that his connection with Salford would seem to show that he is primarily interested in rugby, then should this project go ahead would Latics become 2nd class citizens and have to play 2nd fiddle to the egg chasers?

tried to reply earlier but my post seeems to have gone missing. If JB is to progress then he is surely better to be involved with a club that will hopefully be engaged in a promotion challenge than one that will be relegated next season.

A lot depends on JB'S ambition. Does he seriously think that he can make it to the top if so then stay at Latics and prove how good he is,if he is just after the best wage he can get then go to donny & be back in league 1 in 12 months time & be an also ran

Surprised to hear about PD's appointment. No doubt Paul is a very nice guy but it has to be said he is also a very poor manager. How ironic that Dean Saunders left Donny to join a club who finished up being relegated whilst Donny got promoted. What are the odds against him taking Donny back to League 1 and LJ getting us promoted

What is it that gives Robins such delight in putting one over on his home town club? He seems to have put one over us every time he has come up against us on every occaision both as player and manager, but what really sticks in my craw is the goal that allowed purple nose ferguson to win everything he has with the scummers. We constantly see the arguments for goal line technology but the incident that is responsible for purple nose staying in a job and allowing him to amass all his trophy wins is never shown, that is Nick Henry's 6 inch over the line "goal" in the FA Cup replay in the late 80's at Maine Road. Had this goal been given then by all accounts the Scummers exit from the fa cup would have resulted in the dismissal of purple nose and we would not have had to endure the past 20 odd years of pain. How cruel is that?

I must be honest and admit that my 50 year+ love affair with Latics has pretty much died over the past couple of years and so I can't be arsed to check this out but I have a feeling that our home record under PD must be close to being the worst of any OAFC manager on record. Any of you statos out there care to check this out?

Got to say that Abbott was the laziest git I have seen at Latics for many,many years and Dickov getting money for him must go down as the deal of the century.

Still think that the only way to improve/stop the decline in attendances is to stay / rebuild Boundary Park and that aint going to happen so unfortunately it's "Good Night Irene"
