Nice to see that besides being the weathliest team in the world,:censored:ty are still the biggest clowns. I have to admit that the only thing that can make me feel better when Latics have lost is bad results for either of our "massive" neighbours. If there is one thing that the scummers can't stand more than losing a game/title/cup competition.then it's losing it to Liverpool. Todays result gives the impression that Liverpool are finally equipped to challenge for the title. Unlike many posters on here I don't have an axe to grind with Liverpool as for 20 years their success kept the scummers hiding away in their closets. I can only pray that Liverpool re-establish themselves as Englands No 1 club (although i think that the records show that they might still be).

I ,like a lot of other fans was a bit dismayed with yesterdays attendance. What dismayed me even more was driving past the"DOG" in Springhead and seeing 4 massive scumbag flags hanging on the front of the building. I never go in the place but judging by how many Blues live in the area I am sure that some do,maybe they can explain what it's all about? If you are a Blue ,and you did frequent the place,then I hope you won't be going there any longer and that you let the twats that own the place know why you won't be going in there again.

I heard today that Mick Wadsworth contacted a senior member of our management approx 3 months ago with a recommendation to sign Greg Fleming. Allegedly Fleming would have been happy to sign for us but a senior member of our coaching staff couldn't allegedly be arsed to do the deal. Lets hope we have'nt missed the boat yet again

I did actually contact Sean Jarvis a few years ago suggesting that we register Latics as a trademark but he didn't seem to think that it was important.

Why was my original post a shocker? We really are looking Mickey Mouse. We have just got £500k for a player we got for nowt and yet we are still looking at loan signings or permanent signings of the ilk of Ian Moore. Glenn Murray went from Rochdale to Brighton,Anthony Elding as gone from Stockport to Leeds,Colin Nish went from Kilmarnock to Hibs and last time I heard Andy Bishop was still at Bury. These are the type of players we should be after if we want to progress.

This season could have seen us playing in the Championship but due to a failure to strengthen our squad in the January transfer window we missed out. In 2 weeks time we could be playing in a fantastic money spinning cup tie at Chelsea,but due to a failure in strengthening our squad prior to a game against one of our poor 3rd Division opponents we missed out again. On paper we could still make the playoffs this season but due to the failure in strengthening our squad over the past MONTH not the last 24 hours then we will probably miss out yet again.
