  1. His waistline is a disgrace for a professional footballer.

I agree with the sentiments here I think our build up play has been poor in recent weeks and we are not getting down the sides of teams either as much as we could.

Holloway is the only striker I would really want to keep at the moment I'd be ok if we kept one other, but we need a clear out of strikers. We also need a couple of wingers and creater behind them.

Agreed, none of the strikers can score regularly apart from Murphy, and it's looking like he'll be on his way in the summer.

Try and sign Holloway and get rid of the rest.

Bring in a couple of natural wingers to give us options and release Croft.

14 games have returned - 4 defeats; 5 wins and 5 draws. 12 goals conceded; 11 goals scored.

No doubt Sheridan has improved our results, and a full season of his points per game would see us getting 65 points and respectable mid-table, but the quality of the performances and attractiveness is still pretty dour - still struggling to think of many genuinely 'enjoyable' games this season (Gillingham at home?).

I appreciate that we are in a huge relegation struggle and its not a time for pretty football and we need points, but if we want to arrest the slide in attendances we need to start entertaining as well as picking up scrappy wins. We have not won a league game by more than a single goal this season, and every point feels 'on edge' right to the final whistle. The team and the fans would benefit from a comfortable 3-0 win at some stage...

The fact that we are still in the relegation zone is a measure quite how deep in the flag following the Kelly/Dunn tenures.

The main priority is staying in this division which is more likely to be achieved by keeping players organised, focused on keeping things tight at the back and nicking goals at the other end in scrappy 1-0 wins on a poor home pitch.Sheridan knows we currently don't have the personnel to play expansive attractive football that brings the 3-0 wins. That's for another day when hopefully Sheridan is given the opportunity to bring in players who may deliver a more entertaining style of play.

  3. Forte plays all the games then we stay up, if not then we don't.

I'd be tempted to bring Croft back in on the other flank.

Decent shout re Croft. As good a player as Dummigan is he's been largely ineffective on the right side of midfield in the last couple of games in an attacking sense.Dummigan is better at full back supporting a winger, not in midfield when we're desperate for wins.

  4. What good to our battle to stay up is always getting on our goalkeepers back going to do?

I see zero benifit in this at all its counter productive. If people can not accept that he is a young lad learning his trade and will make mistakes then that is just daft. Yes he has cost us a few points. He has also won us a few too.

If we go down we will not go down because of joel coleman. His mistakes will be long way down the list of reasons if we do go down.

It's an observation that he's clearly making too many errors which are costing us much needed points that we can't afford to lose being in a relegation battle. At this rate Shez will be forced to make a change by bringing in a keeper on loan.
