  1. Its a Friday don't worry I wouldn't book it on a Saturday! My argument for that was nobody would turn up and my season ticket wouldn't be as good enough value for money lol
  2. I said if it was the rose bowl cup vs the dale I would miss that but its not good enough, joking apart she is really upset lol I am positive I am not going to miss this game. Its got stupid now though she even asked me if she was to die would I still go to wembley? When I said it depended on what day her funeral was I got the evil eye and shes not speaking to me now lol
  3. Right, the Mrs came to the game tonight and all holy hell has broken out now because the JPT final is in the middle of our honeymoon!!! I have told her how much It means to me to see the team run out at wembley and have a chance to win something but apparently in order to have a wedding she has to mean more to me than the JPT??? I am Confused
  4. 2500 is about right they didn't fill the big bit and there were loads of gaps because they were all stood. Still a great turnout we wouldn't have got close to that at their gaff.
  5. Sat 19 Dec 1914 Liverpool 1 - 2 Oldham That will do me!
  6. They slashed the prices when they played Northampton at home that time and had some tickets at just £5!!!
  7. My Birthday is on the 13th of December and all I want is Latics to beat southend. I just hope the chron doesn't read "Latics Kop Out" the day after!! C'Mon Oldham!!!!
  8. The southend game is huge for us now, I am sooooooooooooooooo Happy we got a massive club away! COME ON OLDHAM!!COME ON OLDHAM!!COME ON OLDHAM!!COME ON OLDHAM!!
  9. Its defo somebody looking to make a few quid and is wishful thinking!! Its currently on a 2007 BORA DIESEL SALOON 1.9 TDI 130 Highline 4dr! Its defo not Dave whelan!!
  10. Don't think chesterfield will be CAT A next year....3699!! (350 from Chesterfield.) I am not sure this Category pricing strategy is working for us this year just seem to be getting the same number of people paying to get in every game? Not really attracting new fans nor helping the paying regulars with daft cat A games like this. We should be looking at a festive deal Hartlepool 26/12 Notts county 31/12 Colchester 7/12 All games for £40? I am a season ticket holder so makes no difference but I would like to see some inclination from the club in making it cheaper for folks.
  11. This sounds daft but apart from scoring the two goals I thought he was weak last night, he didn't track runners or stop balls coming into our box. I went mad after their 2nd went in because wes allowed their guy to just cross it without making a tackle or being strong.
  12. That happened to me last week against MK Mongs. I went to put a bet on behind the chaddy, £5 kuqi first goal oldham win 2-1 @55/1!! The Mrs said don't waste your money, so I put a daft £2 bet on something else (don't question my logic I have none) THEN the Mrs went and put £3 on my initial bet and won £168 for 'HERSELF'
  13. Bad for the guy but that's some away trip dedication lol Yesterday I couldn't help but sing to the tune of sloop john B 'this is the worst trip ive ever been on' while on the other side of the motorway barrier while the Wife to be just looked at me in dismay questioning my manhood as it just cost me £140 to get the RAC to change a tyre!!!! Wheel nuts too tight and Jack was kack, that was my excuse
  14. Fair Play that beats mine. If we had won it would have been a little bit better! Just need two new tyres cos i am fecked if I am keeping that space saver!
  15. Tyre shredded out on the M56 motorway, bloody big skrew in it, stuck on the hard shoulder for 1hr 20mins!!! Wheel nuts too tight only a space saver in the boot, crap little jack thing also RAC membership expired had to pay over the odds to get home. Also the game was dire and we lost. Got me thinking this is one of the worst away trips ever for me, anyone else had a similar nightmare trip watching latics?
  16. The two main problems that Oldham have in attracting the towns BME population to games is both cultural and football related. In the past it was the case that Asian families wouldn’t spend money on entertainment activities especially on those which were predominantly made up of white working class males in a prejudicial environment hence the cultural barrier. Oldham now has a different make up of its BME population where some Asians are third or fourth generation ‘British Asian’ and the spending habits are much the same across the board in all walks of life. We now have the problem of being a third division side playing in a three sided ground charging £23 surrounded by two of the biggest clubs in the world playing the best football in the country. With city doing offers of three games for £60 where do you think the new generation of football fan would go?????
  17. From the chaddy it looked like a late challenge but no question he was going for the ball. I thought he was walking anyway because wasn't he on a yellow already? Anyhow the more I see it I think a red is harsh in the context of his game but defo a yellow. Just a heavy touch taking the ball away from him but his eyes never left the ball, the challenge looked worse as their lad already started to leave the ground and he caught him.
  18. I went to the game today and was sat not far from the arsenal fans who before the game had banners showing their support to him but I didn't see any towards the end lol. Arsenal had no midfield at all today and it just wasn't working for them they did little to change it and rightly so were hammered! With that defense they looked like a league one side that zander diamond could get in.
  19. He did well last night especially in the first half with his off the ball runs across the line. He's not a player who's style of play of the ball lends itself to the obvious, tactically naive football fan. Unfortunately we have a few of those.
  20. That's a bloody good point! PLUS SIDE: House Prices in Oldham can't be that much surely you could make a saving by moving to sheepfoot lane, petrol money and car parking saved, Christ it could even see a return in 6months. DOWNSIDE: Its Oldham.
  21. But at grounds like swindon etc theres the space issue our car park is the biggest in the bloody football league lol We could rent it out on matchdays ffs.lol £5 to park anywhere in oldham is £5 too much we should give people the petrol money and free parking its the least we could do if they turn up to the sh!t hole we call home.
  22. Wasn't it £3 to park on the official car park last season??? Now its £5??? 60% increase in these tough economic times??? god damn it bloody 'condem' government! I am buying nothing inside the ground this year or at the club shop in protest. Won't be long before the fooking season ticket has car park vouchers in it!!!...wait a minute.......alan........
  23. This is just no good at all I am trying to sell stuff but actually may find the collection growing!! lol
  24. I Knew that! I thought Rhodes was in net for the first game not hallworth?????? Anyway Jobbo is an added bonus and has added 50P to the value cheers!
  25. lol alreet pal, The Mrs is happy as she can have the 'office' wall back now (spare room to me and you) Its to fund our fleetwood trip lol
