  1. Howdy. Putting these items on ebay in the next few days would rather they go to somebody on here though PM me if your interested. All player cards signed as well as Ritchie photo Certificate of Authenticity also included. Thanks Kyle.
  2. With the owl in the new crest looking so pissed off does that mean the mascot i.e chaddy need a more bad ass image also? lmao
  3. Mrs Text me and I am in the box that day! Lazy boy recliner waitress service offering assorted cool beers and beverages with either a pizza or Indian food. It comes complete with climate control and pause and rewind capabilities......Oh wait text says watching it on the box at home saving me and the Mrs £40.
  4. Never mind we don’t have 10,000 of anything anymore in that case. Bit of a shame because if it was a recognised religion then Oldham Council might be a little more helpful in finding us a place to worship ie a ground with four sides! lmao
  5. Am I right in thinking that if enough people were to put Oldham Athletic as their religion in the census it would be a recognised religion in the uk? I have done it anyway as I am not religious about anything else lol. That would make Joe Royle our god and Andy Ritchie a prophet! At least if we do fold its a record for future generations I was a latic
  6. There is No doubt Dickov has done a good job and just to clarify for those who jumped the gun I don't want him to go by far. However the biggest shame to me is that this season the league especially the playoff positions are wide open to anyone. The standard this year is poor all round with the exception of one or two teams everyone is capable of beating each other. I am frustrated on the playing front to see us defend so poorly and why our right and left backs are the ones putting crosses in the box from deep and not Taylor white or morais when we are playing a 5 man midfield??? Wouldnt be as bad if there was somebody in the box on the end of them but just Tounkara? He cant head a ball. Morais is a luxury player that we cant afford to play when we come up against a better than average team and if he does play it should be out wide. For once we have pace in the team its time to use it and not resort to hoof ball Ronnie moore tactics at least he had the players that suited it. Get the ball down and play 2 up front with wingers we have the players R Reid will score in the box all day long. 4-4-2!
  7. Why when you use super glue and get a bit on your finger do you always pinch your fingers together to see if it sticks and how strong it is?? or is that just me? lmao
  8. BIG FISH THAT ONE! lol Who wants Dickov out???
  9. Nah I don't agree. Hartlepool are a poor side. We had a ten minute spell today when in the first half we passed and moved in their half after that we went back to playing hoof balls and the gap between midfield and 'The Chin' was too big resulting in possession being given away to easy. Heads dropped and we rolled over. Simple. Another thing why do we bring everyone back for corners yet we zonal mark?? At least leave white on the halfway line at home when defending a corner.
  10. OF HIS MIND!!! How can we keep playing with one up front at home and that one being Tounkara?? He is poor to average in this league and if your going to play hoof balls up front at least put somebody next to him for the knock ons and play to his strengths!! Tounkara off Brooke on??? WTF was that bet R Reid is getting his match sharpness on fiffa 11 then? We give the ball away to easy and theres no way a team with Taylor Morais and white in midfield should be playing hit and hope balls up front!! Get it down and wide and put balls in the box 4-4-2!! That was the worst second half I have witnessed for many a year! Not A Happy Bunny....Season Over.
  11. Just got some from ticket office now. If you go a few hours before you should be fine.
  12. I have waited for today all season, with recent events off the field I am dragging as many people as I can to the game and I can say hand on heart today you will hear the loudest Come on Oldham or OWTB that has ever left my voice in 27 years!! we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender!!
  13. Oldham's Motto: Sapere aude (dare to be wise) Ashtons Motto: Labor omnia vincit (Persistent Works Triumphs) Which one lives up to their word?
  14. Its one thing for Oldham Council to hold the club back cut our wings and damage the life and soul of the club, but its Sacrilege for our fans to do so by not realising that a move is needed in order for us to have any kind of future at this level. Oldham Council would need to be a key instrumental partner in making a move possible in the borough. You could describe the club and councils relationship in many words but partners would not be one. Ashton Moss and Tameside Council could work and both parties would reap the benefits and work hard together. As for the Fans who say a move out of Oldham is a bad idea Oldham itself is killing the club and Ashton has a bright future with the OL7 tag!
  15. If the Trust or Fans start to Run the club then that will be the final nail! TRUST CORNEY!
  16. Ashton Moss would be a dream move and if it were my money at risk thats where I would relocate to! The council (Tameside) currently has a leader who has already demonstrated his desire to bring new innovative business and new industry to the town especially in and around this site with the likes of Ikea, Ashton moss retail park and the metro link already secured or in place. Curzon Ashtons ground has potential and I am pretty sure planing approval already as a site to be increased in size and is in a prime catchment area for new fans. It has overspill car parks in reserve and traffic management systems for big events (Usually fire work displays 10-15k attend just from that area alone). Its less than a quater of a mile from j23 of the M60 with a dual carridge way right to the ground. Its also 5 mins walk from Bus and train sations and in the next year will have its own metro station stop round the corner! Its a fantastic time to move to Tameside......this could be a blessing.
  17. Who's going to be sat in the chaddy when we move grounds??? Theres nothing left at Boundary park its been allowed to go to rack and ruin whats the difference. I sat in the chaddy for 25years still moved to the rocky. I see things for the good of the club sentimental value doesn't pay bills.
  18. Besides playoffs you need to buy a ticket anyway and the chaddy end looks two thirds empty on match days when you look at it from the rocky.
  19. Never say never lol Take a look around we are playing in a three sided ground and plan to move to failsworth. If this was said in the past you would most probably say " this would never happen" And the Failworth bit might not but still.... It would make sense to move away teams to the chaddy cut down on police costs of two sets of fans in the same stand plus better facilities for home support and enables greater numbers.
  20. In the hypothetical play-off situation It would take balls and a bit of planning and negotiating with police but why not give the away team the chaddy end and house home support in the entire Rochdale road end that would be an atmosphere if full and make up for the three sided shambles!!
  21. There’s no hidden agenda or ulterior motive for my initial post I just wanted to gauge others perceptions as I am baffled to understand certain decisions made by the owners and where these missing fans go . Your right in what you say it’s a lot of money to pay to watch the standard of football on offer compared to our neighbours in whats fast turning into a dilapidated stadium with poor facilities for this division. My concern though is whether there is enough of a loyal fan base left to make this club work should FAILsworth take place? I do think that the taking down of the Lookers stand will prove to be a grave error as in the interim period of moving stadiums its done nothing to keep hold of the regular support or attract new people to boundary park for a prolonged period. Little things like running out of hot water and food and drink against Rochdale will be in the memory of those visiting a 3 sided ground to whether or not they want to spend their hard earned cash and return I suppose.
  22. Less home support from one home league game to the next WTF?? How many other clubs does this happen too? I know Rochdale is a derby game (pains me to say that) but honestly are we fighting above our weight in terms of size of club and support even in this division? We have a good team and are playing excellent football, admittedly not week after week but more often than not yet still we don’t seem to attract the stay away fans. Are we just a lost cause in the world of football or would promotion & significant investment in stadium squad and facilities be enough to keep us afloat? Kind Regards Devils advocate.
  23. My Stupid bit of shouted advice to the team was at the last FA cup game we won!...Yeah Everton away! I was sat in the bottom tier in one of the worst seats ever for view (my defence) and I shouted... WIDE!!! Just As I did the rest is history........Garry Mac screamer!
  24. Jones??? I don't rate his crossing ability at all! I think theres far too many times when he should cross the ball he doesn't and when he does there either over hit or weak and don't beat the near post. Kieran Lee is my choice he can cross a ball.
