  1. his reputation is pretty bad now, since the season started he has been crashing into people. many bookings and this may be his 2nd sending off
  2. A bloke goes into a barbers and asks for a TONY CURTIS haircut. he feels tired so has a nap and asks the man to wake him when hes finished. he wakes up to find his head is like an egg, shaved bald. YOU PILLOCK he says THATS NOT HOW TONY CURTIS HAS HIS HAIRSTYLE. YES IT IS says the barber I SHOULD KNOW I SAW THE KING AND I 6 TIMES.
  3. i like that one, that reminds me. a prisoner is being escorted across the yard to the shed where he is about to be put to death. its pissing down with rain. he turns to the guard and says NOT A VERY NICE DAY FOR A HANGING IS IT. the guard replies YOU SHOULD MOAN I HAVE TO COME BACK IN THIS.
  4. the away results arent helping. and the last 2 games have been drawn when clearly they were there for the winning. sheff wed and orient. people arent stupid they can see from the results the team isnt on top form.
  5. its a wonder they werent singing :censored: ground no fa ns.
  6. we did well to keep a clean sheet after losing the last 2 away games when we were in front. had a horrible feeling we would let a late goal in at sheffield.
  7. our goal was a breakaway, we were under the cosh at the time and were only in it due to some brill saves. it was late but it sounds like we got what we deserved in the end.
  8. no way, sheff weds wont lose twice at home on the trot.
  9. his halftime team talk didnt do much. i would say johnsons was much better.
  10. wheres the steel dickov. how can you be 2-0 up and lose 5-2. so much for the defence, they cant blame the strikers for not scoring , we were 2-0 up for christs sake. can someone tell me when the last team were 2-0 up at boundary park and we came out 5-2 winners oh and dickov stop sending me emails about the next game until you get it right. last 3 games. 2 draws and a defeat by 5.
  11. yes, jarrett didnt see their goalscorer ghost in behind him and out strip him for pace. brill was a little too far off his line but for me jarrett should have done better.
  12. pool should have had a penalty but ref didnt see it as he was unsighted. dongs down to 10 men. still 1-0 to mk dons 93 mins
  13. why dont we have a whip round in the town centre and buy him by PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION like they used to do with the statues.
  14. yep, paul murray booked for a dirty lunge. for pool.
  15. it will only be due to there being no premier league games. otherwise they wouldnt know who we were. or where we are.
  16. bit of chanting from the home fans now eh. they must have thrown some folk in who were walking past the ground. port vales ground has always amazed me. such a massive stadium but when they are seen on tv. rows and rows of empty orange seats.
  17. just watching them on sky now and the ground looks empty and there is no atmosphere you can here individuals shouting out. just shows latics arent the only ones in our division with non attendance. both sides look very average by the way. nothing to fear here. halftime mk dons 0 hartlepool 0
  18. the best one was the guy who went down to the gay area of manchester and crossed out the C on the sign for canal street.
  19. i was a bit shrewd in the end didnt go due to the poor weather. phew. it was the only game in our division that was goal-less
  20. the weather and 3 home games on the trot. also yeovil brought very few. there were probably quite a few shrews fans in the stockport crowd.
  21. hope so to. i am going today for the 1st time in over 12 months as my mate who is going with me says they are playing better. just hope they dont drop a clanger and upset me.
  22. think these 2 home games will be interesting. the latics of old would usually get too cocky and slip up here. if we get 6 points from the next 2 games then yes, i will start to think something is happening here.
  23. yeovil. mk.dons and huddersfield defences all look weak terrible forbes is at orient now and scored with a header. the reading keeper kicked the ball out of his hand straight into the back of one of his own players and it fell to earnshaw who scored. think it was our no. 19 whos poor clearance went into the path of the charlton player who scored. good goal by furman again. top left corner.
  24. this is the 1st time they have won their first 3 games of the season for 63 years. gulp. 9pts top.
  25. came on as a sub in 85th for derby today, he has a hip injury they said and wont be risked for more than 20 mins per game. another injury eh. what a surprise.
