I was in the Paddock right next to the pitch last time. Got asked to sit down a lot. Lot of tannoy announcements asking for Latics fans to sit down as well. Took no notice - but I was a right balloon that day. Had far too much to drink. Not proud of myself. Indeed. You immediately draw parallels to someone like Khan - as Khan's chin was talked about in the amateurs just like Price's was - and wionder if his career will pan out similar. BUT, whilst :censored: just got a lot tougher for Price as the rest of the division realised he has a big weakness, I still believe Price has some unbelievable power there that will blow away pretty much everyone in the division given the chance. Is he clever enough to get close enough to his opponents to be able to use it without taking a big one himself ?

Eee in my day we used to get left clinging to the metal pitch side perimeter fence for 90 mins. Chaddy was standing and 5k full of noisy chanting neanderthals and not a clue where your parent/guardian was standing. Unless I went with my black mate whose dad was easy to spot.

You'll get some top odds on us being in the Europa League next year, but I think you'd be wiser getting on us to be playing at Spotland rather than the San Siro.

There wasn't a great deal of time to shift the tickets on open sale. The tickets were expensive for kids. The sale of tickets were subject to proof of id. The ticket sales didn't get the usual hype on the OS (presumably to avoid tempting Everton fans to buy in the home ends) and the game was on TV - so all of this had an impact on sales but you have to say 9,500 was a poor show really. Not that it mattered one bit to me yesterday - special night and the fans who were there were absolutely superb.

I think it shows just how many Liverpool fans were in the home ends when we played them.

Special night. At one point whilst bouncing to the great escape in the RRE I had a lump in my throat - never got emotional like that a game before.
