    Northern Quarter is probably your best bet if you want to do a bit of a crawl without walking big distances, but it can get pretty packed in a lot of places at night. Not sure if all of these places are still going but Briton's Protection, Peveril of the Peak, Lass o Gowrie..aren't too far from where you are staying. They're quite well known real ale pubs with a lot of info on the internet about them.

    It's a crazy idea. Few clubs outside of the Prem will be paying high transfer fees in these days of austerity, short term player contracts, and increasing contract freedom.

    I let out a boo at Kuqi yesterday when he appeared to not pass to Changybobs - more out of complete frustration at how the match had gone until that point - but I think Kuqi can score goals in this league. And I think Reid and Simpson can as well. We need a playmaker in the middle of the park like Wellens.

    I find it highly unlikely that Corney would allow anybody on the board unless he was totally convinced of their abilities. Back them all. Corney doesn't strike me as some soft touch who would 'carry' others. Whether we see what they bring to the table or not, Corney does, and I trust Corney.

    It's a daft topic but one I have been daft enough to dream about. 100m is some serious dollar and you could do some serious good with it. :censored: knows what you'd decide. But one thing I would definitely do, even if I 'only' won something like 7m would be massively subsidise season ticket prices, especially for anyone who'd had one in last few seasons.

    There seems to be an idea that the people who bought golden tickets are 'new' fans. I don't buy that, more likely that most of the people who bought golden tickets are people who pay on the day throughout the season, and probably tend to come more when we're playing well. They'll be back....when we start playing well.

    Think they were doing really well at the time, and I seem to remember they filled the Rocky. Atmosphere in the Chaddy was great.
